This website sent me to a hotel that was under renovation and not in service. I arrived at 11:30 pm. It took a half hour to reach a customer service person. And then another half hour for that person to Not reach the hotel! Because it wasn’t in service!!! Ridiculous!!!!
The hotel was closed n construction everywhere i had to sleep in my car that night because i couldn't get my money back for the room i paid for.
This place was under construction for the last 6 months and Expedia took the booking in August. Pathetic service from Expedia. I will never recommend anyone to use Expedia.
We didn’t stay. We tried to cancel b/c the building was under demolition and the sign at the front desk said temporarily closed!!! We had to find another room at another hotel. Very disappointed
Hotel is currently closed for renovations, yet your site continues to allow booking.
I loved everything about this hotel, the staff everyone was great
Property under total renovation
How are they able to even book rooms online with the state of this hotel.
This hotel was a mess. Not only was there construction taking place right outside our window, something we were not notified about when we reserved, but construction material was scattered all over the lobby. The hallway leading to our room had a leaky ceiling and smelled of mildew. Someone had placed a plastic bag over our smoke detector and the room smelled like stale cigarettes. The free continental breakfast consisted of a lone waffle machine and syrup with a single gallon of milk if you were lucky.
To have these problems is one thing, to have them and not notify anyone beforehand about how it might impact their stay is another matter entirely.
This facility was under major renovation and had a horrific odor in the room. We did not stay because as senior citizens we did not feel safe physically or health wise
They are in the middle of a major renovation. The front of the build had been torn off. The lobby was half full of building materials. The front parking lot was full of construction trailers and pallets of materials. The back lot was completely blocked off. I had hoped for a nice breakfast based on their photos, but nope. Juice machine that only had two of the four taps working. Stale waffle batter and a syrup dispenser that was not only empty, but the top was glued on from not being used. We tried to get help from the front desk, but the employee was in the office with the door open and snoring. We could not get his attention even when we yelled. No fruit, no Danishes or toast or any of the other items shown. Just stale batter and lemonade and watery orange flavored drink. We tried to make waffles but as I said the batter was old and did not taste right.
We booked this hotel because it said it had a hot breakfast. There was no mention on the hotels.com website that the hotel was under construction and there was no hot breakfast. The only thing it offered was coffee and a muffin. If we had known that we would had chosen to pay $20 more to stay across the road at the comfort in.
I pulled up to this hotel and thought it was abandoned. There was materials everywhere. A large dug up pit with no caution warning was on the front side of hotel. The place was very dirty. The water was off from 11a-6p. The workers used the restrooms to do1 and 2 without flushing. They were full of feces. Every floor was dirty. My room smelled like a damp smokers club. The bathtub was rusty with holes. There was no breakfast. What staff was working was polite and apologetic. I paid too much money for this type of stay. I was very disappointed. This app wont let me post the photos.
Property was under construction, roof was leaking, and there was wet spots as well as mildew smell.
Rooms were dirty and the place was a construction zone.
We booked 7 rooms with this hotel. Once I and the group I was staying with arrived it was never released to us that it was going to be under construction. That’s not what disappointed us…. I have never been so disgusted and disappointed in a hotel this badly. We understand construction happens. But the state that this hotel was in was uninhabitable - unhealthy and unsafe. The amount of water damage was so significant that the ceiling was dropping beside you as you walked down the hall, paper towel stuck around sprinkler systems(which means fire system was turned off), standing water pools in the bathrooms, short and curlys left in the bath tub, stains on bed sheets, a chair that was so stained that if you sat on it you would probably get pregnant, un safe wiring with paper towel stuffed in it. It’s a shame that Expedia promotes hotels like this. I have photo proof so someone can explain to me why a refund wouldn’t be warranted…..
There was a used condom in our room the smoke smell was terrible and we were in a non-smoking room the furniture was stained the elevators were filthy they were renovating and should have been closed down till it was done stay there last year and it was the same situation there was a lady in the hallway rolling cigarettes our friends that stayed there ceiling was leaking there was no ice another book it they should be reported to both the health department and the Better Business Bureau I would never stay there again
Was not notified of remodel being done. Arrived to a mess. Building materials stacked all around entrance and roof torn off entrance. Leaks all over the halls with trash cans setting under them. Breakfast was not full bar as suppose to be. Day 2 the ceiling started leaking in our bathroom, and later the ceiling fell all over the sink. The outside was littered all over with roofing pieces that were thrown from roof.
They were in the process of renovating but the area inside was not good at all. Stainsm cracks, water leaking from the ceiling, and the room the rug in front of the sink was soaked and made the room musty when walking in. Should be closed until the construction is finished. No breakfast had coffee but the cereal looked to be there for a while and no muffins, bagels, or bread. Had a waffle iron but did not take a chance on it.
When we arrived the entire hotel was under construction. There was a dumpster right in front of the door, construction materials all over and the entire roof was being redone. Broken floor tile everywhere, water dripping from the hallway ceiling to name a bit of what we saw. We checked in thinking the room would be ok except when we got in someone was hammering in the room right above. My children didn’t feel safe and we felt like they should have shut down the hotel until they were done with construction. We immediately went back to the front and found other accommodations for the weekend.
