Pros:

I will try to stay here again the next time I visit home. I've had two very nice stays. As a disabled traveler who uses a mobility scooter and travels with her dog, this was a very lovely place to stay. The beds are very comfy, the refrigerator and microwave were spotless, and the free breakfast of waffles, bagels, yogurt, cereal, juices and coffee was generous. Gotta love a good waffle machine!

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like was that there weren't enough handicap accessible rooms available. But, that seems to be a common theme, not a specific motel/hotel theme. In my opion, grab bars in the shower and next to the toilet should be universal in all rooms. Two horizontal bars, or one of each would be helpful for people of different heights.

Awesome for dogs.
Pros:

This place was wonderful for my dog. Big yard against woods to wonder. Bunnies, squirrels and a deer visited. This motel is set back from the road. Almost no road noise. Crickets were loud. Enjoyed the breakfast, the jacuzzi and the pool. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Great value for the price. So close to main village attractions. Restaurants right next door. Really close to the battlefield and museums. Loved staying here!

Cons:

There was another guest on the second floor who was a disrespectful hog! They threw chicken bones onto the section of lawn that everyone brings their dogs. The poo bags are right there. No reason for this as there are exterior trash cans available.
Other than that, I myself am a smoker and I didn't appreciate the staff who smoked, lighting up and sitting right at the main lobby entrance. I was off by a side entrance and a distance from the door.

Pros:

As a disabled person traveling with an elderly dog, using an electric mobility scooter and a wagon, it's not an easy trip. But from checking in to checking out, I experienced the most courteous, kind, and outstanding service in a budget motel. (I don't say that to be discourteous, it's the price range I'm able to afford). The woman who was on the night desk helped me when I needed some unforeseen assistance at night. She was so kind. I got to know her while we talked and I'm so glad she was the one who was behind the desk that night. What a gem! The afternoon woman who checked me in was very kind too.

Cons:

I wish there was more than one diet soda in the soda machine. Just diet Dr. Pepper?? I'm a diabetic. There's 35-45grams of sugar in one 12 oz bottle of soda. Most women are allowed 25 grams of sugar a day. Could you please ask for diet ginger ale JUST in case "we" get I'll and need it? Thank you.
