Home away from home.
Pros:

I love this place. My home away from home. I’m always working in town when I stay here. The staff is exceptional! Only thing I can think of that would make it better, is to have free beer in the fridge!

We were surprised by how this motel had declined.

lWe have stayed at this motel before. Its quality has declined significantly.

A toilet that flushes and doesn't require ME to do the plunging, which didn't work!

They could do much better!
Pros:

Our room smelled strongly of insect spray. The toilet was not clean. The bathtub had been painted and the paint was all peeling off. There was NO WAY that I would have gotten into that tub! The beds were clean. The TV and the HV/AC worked well. The breakfast and the breakfast area were good. The price was very reasonable but due to the overall condition of our room, we would not make a return visit.

It used to be better
Pros:

It has gotten worse every year, now at the level of “find something else” - we noted the same trash in the hall for days on end - Bringing this to the staffs attention elicits a shrug and dismissal.

We enjoyed the people with whom we traveled, the food was tasty, and the bed was wonderfully comfort

Pros:

Check in and out was super easy. Room was clean and supplied well. Breakfast options were great, except for the last day and the coffee machine wasn't working properly, but it happens. All the staff was very nice.

Great breakfast
Pros:

Everything was as advertised, and the breakfast was great. My only comment is this—when we got to our room the AC was set at 62° which is way too cold. Save some energy and set it at 72.
