Rude check in/out staff!
Pros:

Grandson and daughter spring break visit.
Arrived to check in at 6 pm on Monday, March 16th, for my reserved penthouse suite. I was not greeted by the man who checked me in. Just, “Next”. He quickly checked me in without ever making eye contact. Never acknowledged diamond status. I had to ask for my snack bag. That was a first.
Room was dirty, trash in cans left by previous guest. One of the bathrooms smelled of sewer the entire stay. Carpet was ripped in several places in the living room. One of them exposed the nail strip, so no walking barefoot! One of the remotes in the bedrooms would not operate the tv. In addition, it’s appalling they charge $20 to park a night. That should at least be waived if you are a diamond member. That’s just a rip off.
The bartenders at happy hour were wonderful. The omelet station staff was as well. Their night time reception snacks are pathetic. As a cook and entertainer, I would be mortified at what is laid out for my guests.
This was our third stay at this hotel this year in penthouse suites. I guess if I were to go back, and couldn’t get the Treaty of Birds suite, I will probably choose to stay somewhere else.
Serious issue with the rudeness of front desk staff. Lady at checkout was the same as the guy who checked me in. No eye contact. No “Did you enjoy your stay?”, nothing. There needs to be a serious overhaul in that department. Of the four I saw, not one of them appeared to like their job.

Honest and loyal embassy suites patron
Pros:

Beware there is a $20 a night parking fee. I’ve never had to pay a parking fee at an embassy suites. I would have stayed elsewhere had I know this. There was blood splatter on the lamp in the living room. If you have children you might as well stay at Great Wolf Lodge for the same price since there will be added parking fees. Also, snacks were some of the worst and skimpiest I’ve ever experienced at an Embassy. The bar tenders and staff were very kind. The two full size beds are rock hard and the fold out couch has a two inch mattress that is not comfortable for even children.

Great stay at Embassy Suites and we’re very much satisfied.
Pros:

I like staying at Embassy Suites in Dallas/DFW and enjoying the great breakfast they provide for us and we always stay here all the time. The staffs are great specially Virginia. I’m a member of Hilton and well recommended. Thank you all for great service.

Cons:

All the amenities and breakfast, restaurants inside.

Avoid for Airport Parking
Pros:

Avoid if you rely on the airport shuttle – terrible service and management.
I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the parking and shuttle service at this location. After arriving at the airport, I attempted to call the hotel for over an hour to request a shuttle pickup. No one answered the phone despite my repeated attempts. I was eventually forced to pay for a Lyft just to get to the hotel.
When I went inside to address the situation, I spoke with DuWayne Bennet, who was the most unfriendly and unhelpful person I have encountered in hospitality. He showed zero empathy for the situation, dismissively stating that the van is a "courtesy" service and that they "don't have to answer the phones."
When I requested a refund for the trouble and the additional transportation costs, he told me it "probably would not happen." He then wrote my name on a sticky note in a way that made it clear he intended to throw it away the moment I walked out.
The lack of professionalism and basic customer service here is unacceptable. If you are choosing this hotel for the DFW airport convenience, be warned: you may end up stranded and ignored.

Looks can be deceiving
Pros:

The complimentary breakfast spread was extensive and tasted amazing. Plus, any hotel that is equipped with a Starbucks is always a bonus as I am a bit of a coffee snob!

Cons:

Beds were quite small for two people to sleep in. There was no extra blankets, pillows for sofa bed available in the room. Additionally, on one of the beds, the bed skirt and side table had dried vomit on them from a previous traveler, an indicator that the room was not thoroughly cleaned between visits. I, did not sleep in this bed but my teenage daughter did and when she woke up to discover this (as we got to the room late the previous evening and were exhausted), she was mortified. Furthermore, I slept in the other bed and woke up with what I thought was a bug bite on the inside of my wrist. Turns out that it was not a bug bite at all as within a couple days, it had spread into multiple whelps and was diagnosed as poison ivy. Needless to say, we will not stay at this hotel again and will not be able to recommend it to our traveling family or friends.

I am requesting a call back and a Refund regarding Our Stay
Pros:

Location

Cons:

I had a Complaint and spoke with Front Desk Evah about our experience and she was going to refund our night stay however I had booked through a 3rd Party Booking.com. I called Booking and while on the phone they put me on hold and called your Hotel numerous times with no success in reaching anyone then I received an email from booking stating that your Property had denied my Refund after Evah had assured me that she would inform Management regarding our situation. Rooms were very Hot and Evah stated Heaters were still on and they had no control over it and Housekeeper opened our Door around maybe 9 without knocking and I was very upset. That is very unprofessional.

Don’t stay here, not worth the money
Pros:

Breakfast was good

Cons:

The TV didn’t work, and the air conditioner didn’t circulate to the bedroom area, so we were sweating all night. We informed the staff at checkout so the next guest wouldn’t have to deal with the same issue, but the employee was very rude and seemed completely uninterested. She looked at us as if to say, “What do you expect me to do about it?” We’re very disappointed with this location, especially considering they also charge $20 per night for parking.
