Staff was wonderful. Rooms were spotless. Breakfast was delicious and lady who ran it was fabulous

This hotel was a short stop for us on the way to Virginia Beach, but it still made a huge impression on us. Check-in went quickly and efficiently, we received all the necessary information. We returned to the hotel around midnight after a short tour of the area - without any problems, the receptionist wished us a peaceful night.

However, breakfast turned out to be a real surprise. Although it looked typical in itself like in any chain hotel, the service in the breakfast room was something completely special. The employee greeted all the guests with a huge smile, asked how the day was going, how the morning passed, and asked how he could help to make breakfast as pleasant as possible. When we ran out of bagels, we asked for it - we were given three different types to choose from along with a sincere apology for the temporary inconvenience. It was not an ordinary, standard service - it was real, friendly and really unusual every day in hotels around the world.

After breakfast, we gave our feedback directly to the hotel manager. We congratulate both the manager and this employee for such a friendly and warm attitude towards each guest. We hope that this attitude, commitment and motivation will be properly appreciated - it was something really special. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who will be in the area. It was a great pleasure to be your guest.

Great typical Hampton. The location worked well for us to move around the entire Hampton Roads area. Lots of restaurants and a grocery store nearby which was great. The staff was super nice!!

The property is in a good location. It’s close to several restaurants and the grocery store. There also is a gas station near.

Breakfast was included

We just stayed 3 nights on a family road trip. The location is great, lots of options for eating & shopping for necessities. The staff is friendly & helpful. This is an older Hampton Inn. Usually you have 3 pegs/ hooks in the entryway but not here. The soap & lotion dispensers are on the upper right of the vanity, not good if there are 2 people setting out cosmetic bags travel kits on both sides. The ice maker on our floor was broken. My husband had to go to the 4th floor. There is only 1 washer/1 dryer for all 5 floors. You have to download an app PayRange to use them. There are 2 elevators. Housekeeping is every other day. The rooms are clean/well kept. Outside there are 2 “ stands” that are supposed to have flowers in them, but apparently the manager isn’t into such niceties. Breakfast was perfectly adequate - waffle maker/scrambled eggs/ potatoes/ sausage patties or sliced smoked sausage/ danish.

Great spot. Very clean and very friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate. Management has done a very good job with this facility. I will stay at this hotel every time I am in the area as long as they have availability.

It was a well run hotel with superior bedding. Sunday's manager was a superior employee who cheerfully provided services and recommendations beyond all expectations..
