Location, good service, good breakfast.
Sound isolation could have been better. With all the windows closed, we could hear people talking in the spa area which was near our room.
Walkable to downtown Poulsbo, was very clean and had a comfortable bed, very friendly, and helpful staff. Was great that breakfast was included with our stay.
The room was small and did not have a comfortable place to sit to watch tv or visit. Had to sit on the bed, desk chair or hard chair at the table.
Loved the reputation of this place as having been here for awhile and maintaining good guest service. Front desk was 100% cheerful and helpful. The property itself is well situated, very convenient, ample parking, and lots of green space to walk your pets. Also enjoyed the small set up behind the building that included chairs, a game, and that there was a outdoor hot tub, although we did not use it. The jacuzzi rooms are a nice touch as well. And breakfast was good.
Sadly, this hotel would be five stars for us if it weren't for the fact that there is zero insulation in the walls. You can hear everything. It's been a long time since I stayed in a hotel that hadn't upgraded that particular situation. I wish they would just buy some studio squares or something and put them up on the walls - the decor is not that exciting so it wouldn't hurt and would actually help A LOT. I could tell from outside our room that the bathroom fan in our room was on. We could actual entire sentences from our neighbors' conversations - and they were up all night so that was not fun. I also wish that the jacuzzi was a little more tricked out - maybe some lighting and some decoration of some kind. Also the hotel doors - holy moly - those are always loud but these really upped the ante on that!
A nice value room for the night! I felt clean, and safe - which is key when traveling alone as a woman nowadays. Location was also super convenient!
The only thing I didn't love was how paper thin the walls were, I could hear the entire conversation of the couple in the room next to me!
The location was great, easy access to shops and sights. We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities. The room was warm, cozy and clean. Plenty of counter, space, hooks, towels and pillows. They even had a sign offering lighted magnifying mirrors for make up application. And the breakfast was very good- plenty to choose from and additional coffee if you needed more than what was supplied in the room. Great experience and would definitely stay there again.

- Surprised that there wasn't an elevator; made it difficult to haul luggage up to the second floor
- Tiny counter space around the bathroom sink
- Very basic breakfast; would like more fresh fruit and pastry options
Overall clean and presentable, bed felt good, good a/c. One of the cleaning gals who seemed like a supervisor had a very cheery smile and attitude.
Bathroom tub creaked a lot, handle was partly busted making temperature control in shower difficult, small short toilet, wall paper in the bathroom yellowing and crinkling, dirty air vent. Felt overall a high price for what you get and the ‘meh’ service.
Very good, REAL breakfast. Location safe, quiet, close to desired downtown activities. very good mattress.
