It was a comfortable hotel with all the basic amenities for the price. The breakfast was also good.

Comfortable room
I liked the hotel's location, the spacious room and the friendly breakfast and front desk workers.
Upon arrival I was greeted with a bottle of water and a small pastry in my room. That was a nice touch. Also like the fact that there's a coffee machine in the room so I could enjoy my first coffee of the day!
Breakfast could have more variety of foods, greater quality of the fruits and better coffee. I absolutely disliked the coffee with the milk drink we get from the machine. It tastes bad and it's sweetened also. Not a good way to start my day!
Location is good. You can walk to most of the city from there.
The room was shabby, mould in the bathroom and there are heavily stained carpets in the corridor. We were told that the Hotel is due for a re fit next year, thougth. Given the condition, not great value - especially as breakfast is 15 Euros extra!
Good location. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Staff was very responsive to some minor issues. Remote control had dead batteries and the first room we checked into had a housekeeping problem. We were swiftly moved to a nicer room with apologies.
This is an aging hotel and it shows. The wear and tear gives it an air of needing a thorough cleaning.
Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was the bomb, slept like a rock. Check in check out was straightforward. Breakfast was a good mix.
Room wasn’t set up for three people, only two bath towels and two coffee cups and two glasses etc. went to call room service and found out phone was not connected. Parking lot was a mouse maze to access. Genius level three and still had to pay for breakfast. TV volume did not work. If you travel enough you have stays like this once in a blue moon.

Kind and efficient staff
Dated old fashioned rooms (old spotted carpets). Very sad and limited breakfast in terms of diversity (not quantity).
The hotel is located near the center of the city, but away from noise. It is clean, comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. It is very close to the train station Coimbra B, where stop all trains coming from Lisbon and Porto.
