Pleasure at the plaza
Pros:

The Plaza is a great stay for value in downtown las Vegas. We had a deluxe Queen room and it was big with 2 really comfortable beds, TV and bathroom. We had a view of the rooftop pool and it provided a safe comfortable night's sleep. The restaurant beside reception gave a huge breakfast and excellent service. Check in was very Quick and straightforward and made easy with good staff. We were greeted by Malachi on arrival and assisted by Sandra with some room queries we had. The main restaurant Oscar's was excellent. The menu is mostly steak and lobster though at a premium the food was simply perfect. Our waiter, Manny and server pepe were fantastic. The Carousel bar was great right on main street and in the heart of fremont.the casino was on site as most are and seemed busy though we didn't spend much time in it. There are several other eateries in the complex and all in all for value it is a great hotel. Thanks to everyone for a great stay and vacation

Cons:

With it being downtown we didn't realise how costly it would be to travel in and out of the strip so we spent a fair few extra dollars on transport though uber and taxi readily available.
Food and drink prices were quite expensive but as is in all of vegas. The casino felt dated and could do with a freshen up when compared to other hotels in downtown and on the strip.
We had a late flight out of vegas and were only offered a late check out so we purchased another room for the day which we would of preferred a better rate as we had stayed for 5 nights previously which was a bit disappointing. But really it was great value and I can't really say anything bad. Housekeeping has to be requested with 24 hours notice but new towels and water will be delivered upon request.

Cons:

Parking was a block over so we had to walk a good distance to get back to the hotel. The TV was super small as well surprisingly.

Grat Location, basic room
Pros:

Great location right in old Las vegas
A great donut shop is on site and a very cool outdoor bar

Cons:

The rooms are basics and need a few modern touches: more outlets to charge phones, a bathroom fan, a full mirror
