What a spectacular hotel experience! From the amazingly friendly and helpful staff to the gorgeous room with its comfortable beds and pillows, everything was perfect. The hotel restaurant was delicious, to boot. We will be back! And I've never seen a cooler room key. They let us keep one as a souvenir.
The staff was behind courteous and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Better than anticipated. The location was great. Quiet, close to subway and South Street Seaport. Our nieces have been coming here for quite a while and recommended The Gild highly.
Room was a little shabby. Could use to be painted, bathroom caulked. Headboard was a bit worn.
The staff was way more accommodating than we anticipated. The food was amazing. The hotel was in a great location; close to subways, walking distance to South Street Seaport. It was very quiet. Recommended to us by my husband's nieces who have been frequenting the hotel for 10+ years.
Great location in the Financial District
Quiet hotel right in the financial district of Manhattan. Spacious rooms compared to other NYC hotels.
The size of the room was really good, comfortable bed, great service, when there was an issue with the air conditioner they followed up with me immediately, they hold luggage post check out, and it’s near everything!

Love Gild Hall. My son lives across the street so I have stayed her many time over the past few year. Rob and his team are always happy and accommodating. The rooms are always clean and beds comfortable.

Really loved how friendly the staff was. Always over the top and one of the best experiences I’ve had in a hotel setting.
My only issue was the address online sometimes is a little off showing on Gold st. My water was also coming out as orange maybe because of pipes? Not sure.

Παραγματικα ήταν ολα άψογα ,το προσωπικό το πιο φιλικό που έχουμε συναντήσει , το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο , το κρεβάτι μαγικό και τεράστιο , το πρωινό τιμιότατο !! Δεν έχουμε λόγια να περιγράψουμε ποσο καλα και ανέτα μας έκαναν να αισθανθούμε οι άνθρωποι του ξενοδοχείου . Τον συνιστώ σε όλους !
Location and staff availability
It was a busy time, and the hotel looked very full, but the staff worked efficiently to satisfy every client. Rooms are spacious by NY standards, and are clean and tidy. Breakfast was good (one should make reservations to avoid a long wait). The Gym(s) was tiny (two tiny rooms on two floors) but functional. The friendliness of the staff left us with a lasting impression.
What a fantastic boutique hotel ! It exceeded my expectations and more. From the friendliest staff, to the beautiful rooms, the cleanliness, and the overall ambiance.
