Gild Hall, A Thompson Hotel, by Hyatt

I had an amazing stay at Gild Hall, A Thompson Hotel by Hyatt in Lower Manhattan. The hotel is beautiful, stylish, and in an excellent location near the South Street Seaport.

The front desk staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided outstanding customer service throughout my stay. They made me feel valued from the moment I arrived.

The location is perfect. The subway station is only about two blocks away, making it easy to get around New York City. Wall Street is just a short three-block walk, and many restaurants, shops, and attractions are within walking distance.

I also enjoyed the hotel’s restaurant and happy hour, which was a great way to unwind after exploring the city.

As a Hyatt property, Gild Hall exceeded my expectations with its comfort, service, and convenience. I truly had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lower Manhattan. Five stars!

Would definitely stay here again, Warm friendly staff, great American breakfast Amex Platinum preferred hotel for a reason, it's a nice stay. Great bed linens too.

My children and I enjoyed our 1-night stay. Staff is incredibly friendly & helpful, a pure delight. We tried the lounge with our stay giving us access hors d’oeuvres 4-7PM and breakfast. Location was perfect as we wanted to walk to Central Park and see Times Square. Room on a lower floor was spacious and comfortable with minimal street noise. Overall a good value that I would go back for.

Staff is extremely helpful and the building, including our room and bathroom, were extremely clean throughout our stay. Excellent location for sightseeing as well.

Tucked in historic lower Manhattan, Gild Hall is an oasis. From spacious, well appointed rooms to exceptional staff and decor, staying at Gild Hall for business exceeded my expectations. I’d love to return for a leisure visit. A note for fitness buffs like me: The hotel Offers fitness space on three floors, but the equipment is limited. They did offer complimentary access to a nearby Crunch if you want access to a full service gym. The treadmill, bench & free weights on floor 6 were fine for me.

An oasis. A blissful escape from the madness! Staff is always friendly and professional. They actually recognise guests from previous visits. A home away from home.

great location in downtown, classic hotel with good sized rooms and tall ceilings in select rooms. good breakfast, nice restaurant downstairs, staff is absolutely a delight and always willing to help out. great stay, great value, no noise while sleeping at night, comfy beds and wonderful service.

Great location and very friendly staff. However the condition of the hotel has gone way down. The little attentions have disappeared (like the individual toiletry).
The condition of my room was appalling for a hotel of this standing. Gross walls, mold over the shower and peeling paint on the walls and bath tub. It was so disappointing to say the least

Excellent experience here at the Gild Hall. Hotel was extremely clean and staff was accommodating. Notably, staffers member Liz & Angel were extremely pleasant and helpful during my stay. They were kind and just made the experience better. I would recommend anyone to stay here. Please visit if you get the chance. The ferry to Governors island is less than a mile away (walking distance).

Hotel is pretty nice, but what makes me wanting to come back is the friendly and helpful front desk folks, they deserve a gold star! Room and breakfast is all good, meet our expectations. Overall, it was a pleasant stay!

This was our 4th or 5th stay at Gild Hall and it continues to be one of our favorite places to stay in New York. We were visiting with friends this time, and once again the experience was fantastic from start to finish.

The front desk team is truly exceptional — warm, welcoming, professional, and always a step ahead. Every need was anticipated and addressed quickly, which makes such a difference when traveling. The level of hospitality here is consistently outstanding and a big reason we keep coming back.

The hotel itself is stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring downtown Manhattan while still feeling calm and tucked away from the chaos of the city. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and the overall atmosphere feels polished but relaxed.

Already looking forward to our next stay. Highly recommend for both business and leisure trips.

Great location, the Felice restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast. Nice not so cookie cutter hotel. Thecsraff was super helpful.
