Great Stay
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at The Gild. Its location in the Financial District was perfect for us as it was a little more quiet than staying more central. There were lots of restaurants within walking and close metro stations. The hotel itself is well kept and clean. Hot showers and comfortable beds and quite spacious rooms for NYC. The check-in staff were always welcoming and upbeat. My only frustration was the small size of the water bottles they give you. It is nice that they are free and you can have as many as you wish, but they are so small and seem a waste of plastic. A water bottle filling station would be a great addition.

Great boutique hotel FIDI, Felice restaurant onsite
Pros:

Fabulous boutique hotel in great FIDI location. Near FedReserve & NYSE, easy subway access. Don’t miss TrinityChurch & the cemetery next to it. Everyone has been a delight at this hotel!! Elizabeth & Pam at check in. Henry & Denise at the onsite restaurant Felice. Food was fabulous—-breakfast & I also had lunch at the bar solo first day. I’ve been to Felice Columbus location. They’re all good; But the personal service here stood out to me. Hyatt has upped their game with these Boutique, typically architecturally significant hotels. I’ll be back for sure!

Amazing Stay!!
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at Gild Hall and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to the penthouse suite, which was an incredible room. Spacious, stylish, and full of character.
The customer service was outstanding. After we checked out, I realized I had left my wedding ring behind. The staff quickly found it and shipped it safely to my home, which meant a lot to us.
The hotel has a cool, unique environment, and the staff truly goes above and beyond. Highly recommend Gild Hall and would absolutely stay here again.

Pros:

What a spectacular hotel experience! From the amazingly friendly and helpful staff to the gorgeous room with its comfortable beds and pillows, everything was perfect. The hotel restaurant was delicious, to boot. We will be back! And I've never seen a cooler room key. They let us keep one as a souvenir.

Great place! Best staff! Great location!
Pros:

The staff was behind courteous and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Better than anticipated. The location was great. Quiet, close to subway and South Street Seaport. Our nieces have been coming here for quite a while and recommended The Gild highly.

Cons:

Room was a little shabby. Could use to be painted, bathroom caulked. Headboard was a bit worn.

Better than anticipated!
Pros:

The staff was way more accommodating than we anticipated. The food was amazing. The hotel was in a great location; close to subways, walking distance to South Street Seaport. It was very quiet. Recommended to us by my husband's nieces who have been frequenting the hotel for 10+ years.

A great overnight stay
Pros:

The size of the room was really good, comfortable bed, great service, when there was an issue with the air conditioner they followed up with me immediately, they hold luggage post check out, and it’s near everything!

Boutique hotel feel with great hospitality.
Pros:

Love Gild Hall. My son lives across the street so I have stayed her many time over the past few year. Rob and his team are always happy and accommodating. The rooms are always clean and beds comfortable.
