I was bringing 5 ladies (mid 60's-70's) to New Orleans for the first time. This was a great hotel for walking to the Quarter. The decor is very appealing, rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Being on the 10th floor was quiet. No street noise. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a $20/day "amenity fee" which includes Wifi and coffee all day if the machine is working. We didn't use any other facilities. I'm not a fan of these fees, just charge up front for the room and include everything. The price we paid per room I thought was great until I saw online that they were much lower than when I booked a month earlier. I suppose they were trying to fill the rooms. Christopher was very helpful with tips and recommendations. I would recommend this hotel for its proximity and safety for walking to the Quarter. Great little diner across the street too.
Overall, such a nice hotel, nicely appointed rooms, attentive service, fascinated by the Banksy Art work.
Disappointed that "onsite parking available" is only available if you pay for valet parking. Also let down by "coffee in the bar" in the morning , either it was not available or didn't provide cream. I also expect at least a clock in the room, also having outlets and charging ports are readily available in much less expensive hotels.
This is a wonderful hotel. Comfortable and stylish. Close to French Quarter and many fine restaurants. Few sockets in room so bring an extension cord.
Yes, there were several issues during my stay. Upon my checkout just a few moments ago, I let the front desk worker know that I did not have any hot water in my room and that I just washed my hair in the sink because the shower was unbearable. She told me that there was nothing she could do, as there was construction work outside and that people who checked in yesterday received a notice. I did not check in yesterday, I checked in on Thursday and received no notice, either by email or otherwise. I said I am paying hundreds of dollars to stay at a hotel and there is nothing you can do to compensate for the fact that I did not have hot water? Something I could have gotten at my own home? That is ridiculous to me.
Housekeeping did not come to my room at all for 2 of the days of my stay and this morning, the day I am checking out, they knocked on my door around 9am. Why is housekeeping coming to a room that is scheduled for check out? Clearly there is insufficient communication amongst the staff.
However I would like to note that the evening desk worker, Roman, was amazing. Very kind and helpful; gave me great recs and very pleasant to speak with. Thank you Roman for great service for the first few days of my stay.
Lobby, adjacent restaurant Kinji and bar was excellent! Rooms are good with bathrooms that were OK, but not amazing, however totally acceptable.

The staff was trying hard. Nice Showe
The room was a modified attic space with white paint. No windows! No view. Small TV a long ways from the bed. Unsatisfactory work space. No luggage space

The property was clean.
Our room was hot the entire time. The AC was not working properly . We complained each day. The third day a staff came and clean out the system . Said it was clogged. However they didn’t do anything to compensate us any discount off our room.
Great Experience. Even Better Staff. Everyone is knowledgable and helpful. Clean Hotel. Will definitely visit again...........................................
What Breakfast?
Such a great experience and wonderful staff! Very helpful and friendly. I would recommend to anyone for individual or group trips!
A great vacation/business hotel. Rooms are larger than expected, staff is excellent, and the building and bar are well appojnted. The bar service was worth the price paid.
I’m a poet, composer & educator Flying down to New Orleans for the first time to attend the JEN (Jazz education network) conference. A musician friend of mine referred me to International House Hotel- And he really knows me it’s an elegant Bohemian vibe… From the art to the design and layout of the lobby bar and reception area and of course I upgraded to a penthouse suite with Terrace and there’s nothing better. I had breakfast every morning on the terrorist before I went to lectures…. I felt as if I was on a vacation and not a week of business Panels and moderators… I was able to go out in the neighborhood, walking to the famous mothers for lunch do some shopping, Check out the French Quarter, Walk back and have dinner at the Japanese restaurant adjacent to the hotel Have a glass of wine on the terrace go back out for music. It was absolutely a wonderful experience and I want to thank the staff for their referrals for music, restaurants, etc. very friendly, outgoing, supportive staff!!! Warmly, Hide
A good location a stone's throw away from Canal Street and the French Quarter. My room was a good size and comfortable. The hotel entrance and reception area is rather grand. I stayed over Christmas and was touched by my stocking full of goodies which was on my bed when I arrived. Staff were friendly too and the bar downstairs is lovely
It's a shame that the hotel does not offer breakfast
