I attended a conference at the Westin Riverwalk. Due to my own mistake, I had my conference items sent to the hotel on the wrong date. David at the Westin was awesome. He worked with my company to have the package sent to me even after it arrived at the Westin after the conference. I appreciate the customer service and how they worked with us to make sure the package was delivered correctly!!! Thank you David!!!!!
Amanda was 100% comprehensive with a problem I had: a package that I ordered was opened and stolen by someone at the front desk.
Pillows were extremely unpleasant.
I ordered a package from Amazon and the day I checked in and asked for the package a small stature woman with black short hair and asian like features gave me my package but it was just an empty bag that showed it had been opened by someone. When I asked to check the cameras or ask security this woman told me that she wouldnt do that because it wasnt possible and that the package was surely opened by Amazon. She started treating me condescendingly and rude so I told her that I wanted to speak to someone else and she just left. A woman named Amanda told me she heard how the other woman had spoken to me so she apologized and told me that she would submit to my room a credit for the value of the package that was stolen so that I could spend it in room service. I had to order and pay for my package again and when the second package arrived the guy from the front desk told me that he didnt know about any packages and that he didnt have the phone to contact anyone so this only made me believe more that the first package was surely stolen by someone at the front desk. I sat down and waited for someone else to help me and a guy which I dont remember his name asked me so I told him everything and told me he was really sorry about all the trouble and that he would call my room when he found my second package. Later my second package was handed to me by this second guy that seemed to me had the same level of authority that Amanda had.
We were checking out very early so we asked the room service guy if we could pre order breakfast to go and he told us no problem but later on he came back and told us the guys from the front desk didnt allow it so this summed up to the problems with my packages made my stay somewhat unpleasant all because of the people at the front desk.
- Valet costs $71 and took 30 mins to get my car
- Front Desk agent did not walk me through onsite amenities or area recommendations
- Hotel decor was clean but very dated
- Bellboys were rude
Probably the worst Marriott experience I've had. Not a horrible hotel. Just a very very very subpar hotel thats a bit pricey.
Nice hotel. Very comfortable room. Good bed and bedding. Great location on the Riverwalk. Only one minor complaint is valet parking was $67 per day. You can public park across the street for less if you want.
Do not allow them to place you in Room 401.
It must have been a business office and then converted to a room. The shower attachment leaked very loudly the entire time. There were NO visits for towels and toilet paper restock. The room was dark, dingy and depressing.

We loved your hotel, but most of all we loved your staff -- Bri, Jacob, James, and Jenny! (Kenny). They were so welcoming, kind, and professional. Seeing and meeting them on all three days we stayed there, everyone greeted us with a smile and positive attitude, and their service was spectacular. We cannot say enough about the staff! It is a testament to the management that your staff really enjoys their job and treats the guests so well! Thank you so much! We also really enjoyed the hotel, the location as it was perfect, and the overall feel of the hotel, rooms, and much more! Plus, even the Valet staff (run by a woman --sorry I don't remember her name) was on time, punctual, and positive. Also, the front desk staff had the same positive attitude. Kudos to The Westin Riverwalk. It was our second stay there, and we will be returning there next time as it is starting to feel like our home away from home!
Colby is such a rockstar! He made me feel like part of the family. Colby is a great ambassador for the brand and makes me feel confident that I’ve selected the correct brand for my hotel loyalty.
Colby was simply amazing but I know that Bri was horribly rude. I would come back if I knew she wouldn’t be there and Colby would handle thing.
