Clean.. comfortable beds.. great air conditioning
Plenty of wifi. TV worked.. fridge was very cold to store some beverage..hotel is easy to get i. And out of and we like the location. For day trips

staff was extremely pleasant. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. We were able to walk right across the street for two options for restaurants. We also walked across the bridge into town to see a show at the convention center. The beach is right around the corner. You cannot go wrong with the price point and location. We paid about 260 for a Saturday night in late July.

We recently stayed at Travelodge by Wyndham for five nights, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.

When we arrived, I went to the front desk to check in and repeatedly rang the bell, but no one came for 10–15 minutes. We ended up sitting by the pool waiting for someone to show up. Eventually, an Asian lady came to the front desk and informed us that our room was not ready yet.

When we finally received our room key and opened the door, we were immediately hit with a musty smell. The room was much smaller and far more dated than we expected. We turned on the air conditioning in hopes that it would help with the odor. The bathroom was extremely cramped—the door nearly touches the toilet when opened—and part of the shower fixture was broken, although it was still usable.

Despite staying for five nights, no housekeeping service was provided unless we specifically requested it. I had to go to the front desk to ask for the room to be vacuumed, fresh towels and bed sheets, and for the trash to be removed. That was definitely disappointing. After the room was finally cleaned, we realized that the housekeeping staff hadn’t restocked the shampoo, body wash, or toilet paper. Once again, we had to make multiple trips to the front desk to request basic necessities, which was both inconvenient and embarrassing.

The parking lot is also very tight, requiring you to drive slowly and carefully when entering and exiting.

I will say that the family that owns and operates the hotel was very nice, polite, and attentive whenever we spoke with them. Unfortunately, good customer service alone does not make up for the hotel’s shortcomings. The property is outdated and poorly maintained, and the lack of proactive housekeeping made our stay far less enjoyable than it should have been.

We will definitely not be returning and cannot recommend staying here based on our experience
