Candlewood Suites Miami Lakes by IHG

This hotel is not what the pictures show.I stayed here for 3days because my house was being remodeled and they never came to clean the room.When I first walked in it smelled wet and like smoke.The A/c doesn't work that well but it was bearable.Its just all around out dated and that carpet in the halls and rooms needs to pulled up..I even saw a Roach in the bathroom.

The stay was amazing and the staff was so family friendly

I arrived later than planned, and the clerk on duty provided outstanding service, explaining proper function of the a/c system in the room. The room was nice and in order.
I will make Candlewood Suites Miami Lakes my choice stay on my next visit to Miami.

When we arrived the air conditioning was not working properly in the other bedrooms so we called the front desk and complained
Immediately we got another room thank you again

I love my room. The unique thing about the property was the free laundry facility. The property is still under construction.

The morning and the evening front desk are very accommodating and helpful. The afternoon staff is just horrendous. This does not pay attention to details nor have any affection to the wrong as they do towards the guest and give off such attitude and as as continues to argue and complain with guests, on fact, as they are wrong to what they did

The space is great. Unfortunately, we had hair in the bathroom & on the reading chair. The kitchen faucet leaked water everytime it was turned on & the AC does NOT cool the whole room. Ironically, at night it gets pretty hot in the room. We had to remove the duvet from the cover to get some relief. The AC fan speed is not adjustable, therefore we were not able to increase the speed. I repeat, IT GETS HOT AT NIGHT!! The king bed felt more like a queen but it wasn't so bad. The staff that checked me in was very polite & helpful. Parking is plentiful but they are in the middle of remodeling, so it's a little crowded. Lots of places to eat nearby, actually walking distance. They have FREE, yes I said FREE washet & dryers, just bring your own detergent. Gym on premises. They are pet friendly so be careful, a dog barked all night on our first night there.

Santos and Giovanni made the stay excellent!!Those two make you feel very welcomed and at home.. A true asset to the stay!! Much praise and appreciation for those two whom deliver top notch hospitality!!!
