The location was great, the staff was very nice and helpful. It was quiet and comfortable.
They were short-staffed with their cleaning Department and evidently overwhelmed, because the room did not get vacuumed or cleaned properly.
I had two sons get married this summer. For both, we used their large conference room that walks out to a patio on the river. They bent over backwards for our luncheon, making sure everything was perfect. The food was fantastic and the employees made sure every detail was taken care of.
The staff were absolutely amazing! Everyone from the front desk, the restaurant, bartenders, and the housekeepers. Amazing group of people. Rooms were clean, fully stocked for what we needed. We will be returning in the future!
Close to the falls, clean, pleasant, professional staff
Large, clean rooms, beautiful views on the Snake river and its riverwalk, a constant parade of kids, joggers, dogs, and simply people enjoying the beautiful outdoors, heated pool & spa, restaurant on the premises (bar opens at 5PM). I would have rated them excellent if it weren’t for the unwelcome “welcome” we got upon arrival. Front desk Alexis was clearly not happy working that day (a fight with the boyfriend? With Mom? With the Boss?) She was literally screaming at us, not good. Her next morning replacement, Justine more than made up for the first bad image, but hey, as they say, “one rotten apple is enough to spoil the whole bushel”… BTW, just walk past the Clarion next door to reach The Sandpiper, wonderful dinner by the water(separate review)
We have stayed here several times and always given it 5*. Why the change? In a large long room described as King Deluxe River View with Balcony you have a bed with a TV opposite and the other end of the room has a sofa WITHOUT a TV opposite! Sitting on the sofa and the TV angled, you cannot get a view of the TV. This is madness! Get a grip Hilton and put the TV opposite the sofa. Not happy!
The staff were amazing! Very helpful and attentive!! The view on the river was so beautiful ❤️ we did not want to leave. The room was very clean and comfortable! Definitely going again!!
l’emplacement
personnel sympa
la chambre manquait de nettoyage
le choix entre omelette préparée et buffet est bizarre
Lovely hotel with a nice, big room and a decent fitness center.
No issues other than cost :)
Very nice and relaxing place to stay. Clean and comfortable also

First of all the cost of a room here in my opinion was outrageous to begin with. The rooms are a bit dated and not all that comfortable. I would suggest you look elsewhere. The air conditioning is intermittent and noisy.
I used to travel for a living and spent many a night at Hilton based accommodations as a Hilton Honors member. This one is one I'd take a pass on. First of all, I got screwed with an outrageous rate over $300 for ONE lousy night as my wife and I were traveling back from the Tetons. The room wasn't particularly clean, and I couldn't help but notice it was getting dated and they should consider updates. The bathroom was pathetic. A worn out shower stall with messed up calking. The seating wasn't particularly comfortable either for that matter. If the room was around $140 I would not complain so much. But it is never worth over $200 so I have no idea why they choose to rape incoming folks staying. there. Its FAR from the nicer Hilton Garden Inn's I've been to. No way I'd stay here again.
we had a great experience in Hilton garden inn, Idaho falls. we had a nice view of the river, the room was comfortable and justin from the reception was helpful and friendly. early in the morning we had a beautiful sunshine on the river.
I was welcomed with warmth
Staff was threatened to my kids, I had to check out early due to discrimination.
They have a nice lobby and a nice patio area on both sides of the hotel. One on the river side that we planned on getting food and eating out on but the weather didn't cooperate unfortunately. It is located near a lot of food places and right on the river. Very near the highway as well. There was a decent little gym area too.
It was more expensive than the hotels that are surrounding it. It wasn't too much more expensive but when you add on to it that there was no breakfast included, the hot tub jets were broken, and there was enough chlorine in the pool area to kill an elephant. (I am not talking in the water either. I am talking about in the air.) the value goes down a bit more. The staff was great though. The room was fine but once again I don't think it was nice enough to justify the higher cost to their competition. I splurged a little since it was my birthday trip and that was my choice. I just don't feel like it was really money well spent.
