Cons:

No air conditioning and extremely hot, window only opened 4 inches. Bathroom quite small, beds were hard. It felt expensive given all this.

Gutes Hotel in schöner Lage.
Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage zur U- Bahn und diversen Restaurants. Das Frühstück war gut, die Zimmer sauber.

Cons:

Das Hotel hat leider keine Klimaanlage. Auf dem Zimmer fehlten ein Kühlschrank und Steckdosen neben den Betten.

The location was excellent.

Cons:

The hotel was dated and tired. We asked to move rooms as we were originally put in a basement room that was dark and dingy. Only having one small lift was no ideal.

Property was in a great location and the breakfast was lovely.

Cons:

There was no air conditioning in the rooms of corridors so given the recent heat, the rooms were unbearable. Also room was very small, as was the toilet. There was no safe deposit or refrigerator in the room. Given the heat in London, there was a lack of cold water available at the property. The lift was very small and only held 2-3 people comfortably.

Staff at check in were nice and did their best to facilitate and earlier check in.

Cons:

Very outdated hotel. The weather was over 35 degrees and the hotel had no air con. We had to use fans which weren’t helpful in the extreme heat.
Overall decor is very dated, carpet everywhere and smells musty. Paid quite a lot of money to stay near Hyde park for a concert and wasn’t worth it.

All style, no substance.

The hotel was beautiful and in an amazing location. Stunning décor. The staff were rather attentive which I appreciate.

Cons:

This hotel is so tragically outdated it's shocking. No AC, small unremarkable rooms, a shaky elevator I estimate is at least 50 years old (and hardly fits 1 person + luggage), few amenities, ancient tech (old room phone and TV, no sockets near bed), rock hard bed, scratchy bedsheets & towels, windows that are not safe, I could go on.

My friends paid nearly £100 less for a hotel 5 minutes away that had a beautiful room triple the size, modern tech, comfy bed, gorgeous view & AMAZING AC. (I cannot stress enough how much the lack of AC ruined my trip. I couldn't function in that oven of a room. I couldn't get anything done, relax, or sleep.)

For the price I paid and considering this is a 4 star hotel; I was SEVERELY disappointed. It is overpriced and lacks the necessary requirements of being a good hotel. Having an identity and being a beautiful place does not mean it's a good hotel. No criticism towards the staff, they were decent and accommodating. But there's only so much decent service can do when everything else lacks so terribly.

Save your money, book a different hotel. My friends stayed at the millennium, it was divine. I wish I did so so badly.

Cons:

There was a heat wave in London and the rooms were not fit with Air Con. The room was incredibly hot and the window shade was broken to not allow what little air flow there was. We left and booked into another hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE in the warm weather!
