Value for money and helpful staff in a perfect central location close to Lonsdale Street buzz.

Location was perfect and room/outlook v. satisfactory

My requests were not met, in booking I ticked two single beds, on extra info I requested two single beds, as this was my main requirement and reason why I booked the mantra I then sent an email confirming my request which I received a reply from the mantra was. On arrival the girl to my face said I had never requested two single beds and then said well the mantra never received the request . I then read the email sent and reply to her which it was then said she can send sheets to my room so I can make a sofa bed up!!!!!! Not impressed . The girl eventually said she would have the sofa bed made up.
There was no aircon remotes in the room which I had to request one for. The aircon in the bedroom did not work so had to sleep with door open for air otherwise very stuffy& the aircon in main area was not overly good either. Very very disappointed, not happy at all with my experience.

Great location that was negated by noise and surprise parking fee.
Pros:

Strategic location. Walking distance to city centre.

Cons:

Tired despite be fittings. Noisy rooms. Morning and neighbouring room noise prevented decent sleep.

Very, very, disappointed this time around.
Pros:

Location of the mantra is great very central to everything so you can walk to most places . Or you can take the train that runs down northbourne Avenue .

Cons:

The apartment we had was a real big disappointment it was very shabby. The first bathroom had someone’s random black hair all over the ceiling I would attach pictures of this apartment but I won’t as they are two discusting to (I have white long hair 🤔) you couldn’t sit on the toilet without sitting sideways because it was jammed up that close to the shower there was no where to put your left leg but sit side ways oh and if you tried to sit straight the toilet paper kept falling off the toilet roll holder. The bed in bedroom two had a big dip in the middle so you would fall into it . The toaster, kettle, stove, fridge were antique and in poor quality. The laminex had big chunks taken out of it to. The vents in the bathrooms were filthy full of dust . And we paid $2854 dollars for three nights to stay in basically a maybe two star apartment. Not happy . Wrote to the mantra and they basically apologised for the room and then said we will give us a discount of 20% on OUR NEXT STAY guess what we won’t be staying again as they should be giving me money back on the terrible dirty apartment we had already stayed in.
