very good hotel and staff we love to stay there again every summer

Perfect place to take a short break from stress and buisness and to escape the daily grind. It's was perfect opportunity to relax in a superb hotel with attentive wonderful staff.

From the moment we arrived, the service was world-class—the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and taken care of.
The location is unbeatable, offering direct access to a clean, quiet private beach without having to cross any streets. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, with stunning, serene views. Another major highlight was the food—the breakfast and dinner buffets were absolutely delicious with an amazing variety of fresh options. The spa facilities and pool area are perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended!

The building and facilities are old and need urgent rennovation. We stayed in a Premium room at the Premium floor. The A/C didn't work properly while outside temp. reached 102.2°F (39°C ) and alternaives offered were not better. We have stayed there many times throughout the years and it has't been modernized yet. In addition, the exit to the beach early am was closed and we had to wait 30 min. until somebody came to open it. Only a single working shower at the beach where you need to wash the burning salty water off your body rather quickly.
While breakfast is still sumptuous and acceptable, dinner has a lot to improve. It used to be quite satisfactory in the past with at least few dishes for the more discerning guests. It became quite mediocre and requires improvement.
Seating is rather crowded and noisy.

The room we received was very outdated, with parquet coming off the floor and a view over the air conditioning system of the building. From a seated position you could barely see out of the window. We found an unending supply of ants in the room: they did come quite quickly to take care of it, but the room was left with a strong smell of ants killer spray that hurt the eyes. The food was plentiful but average. The only positive experience was the spa, with excellent massages, and the access to the beach. My advice would be: sleep somewhere else, and if you can spend the day there to enjoy the facilities.

Amazing food, a clean and well-maintained hotel, and direct access to the beach from the property. The room with a private pool is perfect for a relaxing weekend. I would definitely stay here again.

Herods Hotel is a beautiful hotel with excellent service, clean and lovely rooms, and very good food.
The spa is wonderful and the massages are excellent.

I stayed at Herods Dead Sea in 2019 and I really liked it. It is right on the beach. The food was excellent. The rooms were very clean and the pool area was very nice.

I visited again in February and I was very shocked. The pool area needs maintenance. The chairs and sun beds look very old and not clean. The metal parts are rusty.

The food was very disappointing. The tables in the dining room were sticky. The food was not well cooked. The meat had no flavor.

The rooms also need renovation. The corridor carpet looks old and dirty. The bed covers and curtains are dirty and have holes.

The lobby still looks good. I give this hotel three stars. It does not deserve more. The pool is bad the food is bad and the rooms need full renovation. If they want to be a four star hotel they must improve.

Location - direct reach to the Dead sea semi-privet beach, equipt with chairs, shade and lifeguards, great breakfast, we stayed at the executive rooms -they have a renovated buthroom, but without a balcony.
At the hotel There are :salt water warm covered pool , a large open pool and a direct reach to the beach

DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!
The worst service ever. Not client facing at all. Treated the families if 2 soldiers, who did over 400 !!! Says reserve duty each !!! With the worst way, and it resulted of us camcelkong all 3 rooms and going back home. Especially worst was the CEO Reuma Lugaxu and the reception manager Nina Ohana. Because if the 2 I would recommend to attend this hotel ever!
Went to Herber Samuel which was amazing.

Every time I visit, it just feels like coming home. The service here is next level – from the housekeeping team keeping everything totally spotless, to the amazing girls at reception: Yulia, Hadar, and Natalia. They always welcome me with the biggest smiles and so much warmth. A massive shoutout to Alona, the evening manager. Her personal touch and how much she genuinely cares is so rare and really makes the whole trip. Thanks for a stay with real soul, can't wait for next time!

Just returned from a 3-night stay at herods and couldn't be happier. The staff was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, particularly Sarah at the front desk who upgraded our room. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a lovely view of the city. The location is perfect, within walking distance to all major attractions and great restaurants. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering both local and international options. A true sample of excellent hospitality—we will definitely be back
