Herods Dead Sea

I stayed at Herods Dead Sea in 2019 and I really liked it. It is right on the beach. The food was excellent. The rooms were very clean and the pool area was very nice.

I visited again in February and I was very shocked. The pool area needs maintenance. The chairs and sun beds look very old and not clean. The metal parts are rusty.

The food was very disappointing. The tables in the dining room were sticky. The food was not well cooked. The meat had no flavor.

The rooms also need renovation. The corridor carpet looks old and dirty. The bed covers and curtains are dirty and have holes.

The lobby still looks good. I give this hotel three stars. It does not deserve more. The pool is bad the food is bad and the rooms need full renovation. If they want to be a four star hotel they must improve.

Location - direct reach to the Dead sea semi-privet beach, equipt with chairs, shade and lifeguards, great breakfast, we stayed at the executive rooms -they have a renovated buthroom, but without a balcony.
At the hotel There are :salt water warm covered pool , a large open pool and a direct reach to the beach

DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!
The worst service ever. Not client facing at all. Treated the families if 2 soldiers, who did over 400 !!! Says reserve duty each !!! With the worst way, and it resulted of us camcelkong all 3 rooms and going back home. Especially worst was the CEO Reuma Lugaxu and the reception manager Nina Ohana. Because if the 2 I would recommend to attend this hotel ever!
Went to Herber Samuel which was amazing.

Every time I visit, it just feels like coming home. The service here is next level – from the housekeeping team keeping everything totally spotless, to the amazing girls at reception: Yulia, Hadar, and Natalia. They always welcome me with the biggest smiles and so much warmth. A massive shoutout to Alona, the evening manager. Her personal touch and how much she genuinely cares is so rare and really makes the whole trip. Thanks for a stay with real soul, can't wait for next time!

Just returned from a 3-night stay at herods and couldn't be happier. The staff was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, particularly Sarah at the front desk who upgraded our room. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a lovely view of the city. The location is perfect, within walking distance to all major attractions and great restaurants. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering both local and international options. A true sample of excellent hospitality—we will definitely be back

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Herods Dead Sea, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm and professional staff. The service was excellent and always attentive to our needs. The spa was amazing, relaxing, and very well maintained, providing the perfect place to unwind. The private beach was quiet, clean, and peaceful, ideal for enjoying the unique atmosphere of the Dead Sea. The food was varied, fresh, and delicious, with many options every day. Everything was perfect, and we will definitely return in the future.

Special place

Very very bad hotel
Not clean, smell of cigarettes, got two beds instead of king size, turrned of AC after a large group of people checked out and on top of all this, water from the shower fill the room since water was coming from under the glass

Me and my wife went into vacation on this hotel. Once we got inside the smell of the hotel was bad. We got inside the room and the room was full of smell cigarette smokes. We barely could stand standing in the room. We paid extra money to get a room with the balcony in floor 2 to 6 the bathroom wasn’t clean as well and water was powering outside the shower glasses since the glasses weren’t properly installed the water filled out the room. at the pool, The bad smell was always, and the floor wasn’t clean . returning to the room we asked for a king size bed, and we got two separate beds that were brought close to each other. through the whole night The beds were separated, and we didn’t have a good sleep. The hotel is rated as five stars When in my experience, it deserves two stars. I am not recommending this hotel to anyone and I am not coming back.

And after fixed it was very very noisy
The dead sea is extremely hot weather you expect the air condition to be perfect. They did not renew water or fruits as promised.
The other part of hotel services were good spa food swimming pool.
