Just returned from a 3-night stay at herods and couldn't be happier. The staff was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, particularly Sarah at the front desk who upgraded our room. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a lovely view of the city. The location is perfect, within walking distance to all major attractions and great restaurants. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering both local and international options. A true sample of excellent hospitality—we will definitely be back

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Herods Dead Sea, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm and professional staff. The service was excellent and always attentive to our needs. The spa was amazing, relaxing, and very well maintained, providing the perfect place to unwind. The private beach was quiet, clean, and peaceful, ideal for enjoying the unique atmosphere of the Dead Sea. The food was varied, fresh, and delicious, with many options every day. Everything was perfect, and we will definitely return in the future.

Special place

Very very bad hotel
Not clean, smell of cigarettes, got two beds instead of king size, turrned of AC after a large group of people checked out and on top of all this, water from the shower fill the room since water was coming from under the glass

Me and my wife went into vacation on this hotel. Once we got inside the smell of the hotel was bad. We got inside the room and the room was full of smell cigarette smokes. We barely could stand standing in the room. We paid extra money to get a room with the balcony in floor 2 to 6 the bathroom wasn’t clean as well and water was powering outside the shower glasses since the glasses weren’t properly installed the water filled out the room. at the pool, The bad smell was always, and the floor wasn’t clean . returning to the room we asked for a king size bed, and we got two separate beds that were brought close to each other. through the whole night The beds were separated, and we didn’t have a good sleep. The hotel is rated as five stars When in my experience, it deserves two stars. I am not recommending this hotel to anyone and I am not coming back.

And after fixed it was very very noisy
The dead sea is extremely hot weather you expect the air condition to be perfect. They did not renew water or fruits as promised.
The other part of hotel services were good spa food swimming pool.

Very old hotel and everything feel very used. Terrible noisy music at the pool.
The stuff was good and nice.

Disappointing experience. Rude, unhelpful staff. Furniture old and worn, A/C barely cool the room. Amenities had weird hours and closed early. Ripped carpets, dirty curtains and walls. At the bar, a guest was told to pay for a peppermint tea bag—or bring one from her room! Security wouldn’t let me take the luggage cart upstairs, claiming he’d have to retrieve it himself. Lifeguard cleared the pool at 4:45 though it closes at 5, rushing guests everybody out, including elderly people that I felt sad for them. Zero hospitality. Definitely not worth the positive reviews. I won’t be back.

This is a property which is tired and needs a face lift. There are no toilets at pool level and our friend who used a mobility scooter was unable to access the pool as there were no ramps. On the other hand the food was outstanding and the staff were lovely. We would go again

The gate from the beach is closed a little earlier than announced.

I stayed at this hotel with my wife to celebrate her birthday. Unfortunately, we found ourselves in what felt more like a mid-level hotel or even a hostel, rather than the luxurious experience that was advertised.

The price was reasonable, and we did receive an upgrade – though it seemed more like a result of other rooms being under renovation rather than a special gesture.

The food was a highlight of the stay. There was a good variety, and the quality was excellent. However, not all the dishes on the tables were as clean as you’d expect from a hotel claiming to be high-end.

The spa experience was just okay. It was fully booked, and we were only able to schedule two treatments at less-than-ideal times. While we appreciated being accommodated, it didn’t feel like the staff made an effort to help us find something better.

Overall, it was not the experience we were hoping for, and we likely won’t be returning to this hotel.
