Right off highway with a lot of food options within walking distance. Majority of staff was exceptional
Paid in advance but hotel attempted to charge the deposit and room charge, a second time, to my card. Luckily, cap1 stopped the second charge as suspicious. Not a big deal and mistakes happened but the lady who checked us in took no ownership and blamed “a third-party” for attempting the charge.

We needed a place to stay for a bed and shower on our way to gulf shores. We wanted to get a little further than Shreveport and considered Alexandria. We always stay at Hilton properties because we know what to expect. That said, the reviews for Hilton hotels in Alexandria as well as the area itself made me look elsewhere.
This hotel is not new, but is taken care of. Our room was clean and the shower worked great! We skipped their breakfast and stopped at the French market, a gas station and deli with some awesome breakfast!
