Over a week needed to stay at the hotel and it was a convenient, quiet and comfortable stay. This is not a location with a lot of extras or thrills, but reasonable and has breakfast included in the rate.
The staff was friendly. The breakfast included an array of eggs, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt and other offerings.
The gym was small, but reliable with both free weights and cardio machines of bike, elliptical and treadmill
Go to this hotel if you want to burn your cash and get extremely annoyed!
Only good thing about this hotel is it’s location.
Rooms are extremely dirty. They tell that room cleaning happens every second day, but in reality its about once a week. Yet they come up with pathetic excuses such as “you should have asked” or “you must have had do not disturb sign on” or “we might have been short in staff”.
Thanks for Erin for being always kind and helpful though.
Great little spot tucked away in a neighborhood.
Check in was a breeze and every single shift was helpful, whether it was 9am or 9pm, they were kind and informative.
I was upstairs near one of the side roads and the traffic noise wasn’t too bad. I was also able to use this new technology called closed windows, to further dampen the sound from outside. (highly recommend to those complaining about noise)
The laundromat was super clean as were the common areas even during a small seasonal renovation.
Everything you could need (grocery, pharmacy, storage, public transit) to stay or settle in Hillsboro is about 5 minutes away from this location.
The room I was in had a full kitchen including induction stovetop, cookware, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, full sized fridge, as well as mugs, glasses, wine glasses, set of plates, bowls, and utensils for four.
Plenty of room storage for your items and a firm but comfy couch to lounge (I didn’t sleep on the pullout). Bed was comfy and had two options to choose from for pillow density.
Housecleaning did a great job and were very respectful of the DND sign (no early knocking) Plenty of towels and water stayed hot enough for a bath. I didn’t test the toiletries as I’m an adult human who has travelled before so I know to bring my own.
I’ve stayed in 49 of 50 US states and this is definitely a hidden gem. I will be recommending it to friends and family when they come visit.
Cheers.
Nice property for a long term stay. Good breakfast and kind and caring staff with a special call out to Gisele who handled my requests quickly and profesionally.
The property is ideal for extended stays with a nice size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dish washer, and breakfast served daily. Even with renovation going on there was adequate parking and the noise wasn't too bad. The pool, hot tub and grounds are maintained profesionally and it shows. There is a nice BBQ area close to the pool with two big Weber Genesis grills and plenty of propane.
While all the staff were hospitable and profesional, I dealt with Gisele the most. She was always pleasant, smiling, and quick to respond to every request. The management is lucky to have her.
It was convenient for visiting with family in the area.
I did not expect to have to walk around the building to get into my room. I could barely find the lobby. You were short staffed so is everybody now so no problem. But it said free internet and it is not you have to join a club or do something I don't have all night to sit on the computer trying to figure out how to turn on the damn television. I was really unhappy and will not stay again
Overall awesome! I am Very satisfied. Specially to the great customer service of Giesel. Thank you so much, We appreciate your service. God Bless!
I like that breakfast is included. I REALLY dislike that all plates, bowls, glasses, and cutlery is disposable.
Water leaked out of the shower pooling on the bathroom floor , the COFFEE WAS AWEFUL and you could see day light under the entrance door as if it were a bug highway.
The comp breakfast was terrible. The sausage was like shoe leather. Broccoli, carrots and cauliflower haven't EVER been served to me for breakfast before and the eggs still resembled the poweder they were reconstituted from.
Checking in was fast and easy. Spent the entire night and morning listening to cars and got no sleep. We had a 2nd floor road facing room and it was loud. It was like the walls and windows were paper thin. But hey, room was clean and bed was comfy. But no sleep or relaxing.
Three lights were not working, so we told the girl at the front desk. Best thing about this place was the location.
This is an adequate suite hotel. The staff is great and the breakfast good. It’s a short walk to New Seasons Market and other stores and offices in the Orenco Station area. Close to the MAX too. The particular room we had was more of a studio suite advertised as a traditional suite. It was a bit small for three people - and the room said it could sleep four.
GREAT!
Tiffany and Demetrio were awesome! I felt welcomed and was greeted with a smile. Definitely my go to whenever I stay over in Hillsboro. Thank you!
This is a dated property by Marriott standards that is a former apartment complex now used for hotel rooms. This means that there are no second floor elevators and the office/breakfast area is the old detached leasing office. Rooms are smaller than average and have tight spaces but were clean. Breakfast was okay for a TownePlace property. Gorgeous neighborhood setting with nice walkable retail. Also, they charge for parking which made no sense.
No second bed. We had to dress the foldaway bed ourselves. Charged us for parking when we didn't have a car.
While the rooms were nice, we had several other issues. We showed up to check in around 3:30 and the rooms were not ready. The cabinet above the microwave containing the toaster was filthy! The shampoo dispenser was empty. When I asked where the ice machine was, it was like a foreign concept. We were given a small cup of ice to take to our rooms, which were found to have empty ice makers. On top of all of this, I woke up to an emailed invoice on the day of check out for $10 to park in the hotel parking lot! This is apparently a routine charge. I personally have never paid for parking at a hotel and will never do so again. I’m hearing friends say they’ve seen this before, but not me except when using valets, and I have driven all over this country.
Safe location, good room size. Breakfast was simple but good.
The shampoo dispenser was empty; there was soap residue on the sink counter from previous guests. When we checked in at 8pm, huge back of house keeping stuff was lying in front of the stairs.
Despite not being a busy downtown location, was charged for parking.
Air conditioning was inconsistent - a part of the room was too cold, the other part too hot.
