We've chosen to come back to this hotel 8+ times. Staff , location and request go answered....

Cons:

Not this time. We asked for a high floor. Not granted. 1st floor was given. We heard disturbing noise from our neighbors throughout the night. Maids banging around in the morning. We even left early 10pm-ish and drove home (+4) because he just had enough. As someone who has stayed with you ...a lot. I am disappointment how this was handled. We bumped into one member of staff on our way out who ask us to go to the front desk and that they could possible (add an extra night) if we choose to return. We were so mad and had a long drive home, we didn't.


As a frequent returning customer, I wonder why are request went unacknowledged. I don't think we are ever appreciated more acknowledge how often we stay here. We have return to Edinburgh once again since and stayed at the Scotsman.

After we left (early) no one reached out. I think that was the most disappointing

Amazing spa day!
Pros:

Amazing spa day, I had Laura and my friend had Samantha and we honestly had the best massages and facials ❤️ I've had a lot over the years but honestly this was 10/10 and I would highly recommend! The pool was so relaxing with the dark ambience and steam/sauna lovely.. We then went upstairs to have some food and cocktails to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint..... All in all fantastic day and we will absolutely be back!

Wonderful helpful staff! Good location.

Cons:

A very strange spa. Large pool but no seating. Nowhere to lie down. Strange restaurant cuisine. Expensive parking; 50 pounds a day is very expensive.

Second stay and will definitely be back
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in the best part of Edinburgh. Wonderful staff. Nice breakfast.

Cons:

Rooms on George Street side of the hotel are noisy and small/dark. Service at breakfast was sometimes lacking.

Absolutely perfect.
Pros:

My family just had the most wonderful stay here! The hotel is gorgeous, the location is perfect (walkable to everywhere) the food is divine, our room was stunning (and so much larger than we thought it’d be), and the SERVICE. Every person we encountered couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Special shout out to Gavin! Thank you Kimpton Charlotte Square for just the best stay we could’ve hoped for!

Amazing stay
Pros:

We had the most amazing stay here on Saturday 11th April could not fault one thing the whole staff where so friendly and couldn't do enough for you our rooms where so nice, the food and drinks where really good and breakfast was one of the best iv had for a long time we will definitely be booking again thank you for such a lovely stay

Amazing stay!
Pros:

Absolutely amazing stay. Baba restaurant was superb. Syrian/Lebanese flavours with Scottish twists. Facilities were excellent. Great pool and spa. Social hour at 5 was a bonus with complimentary drinks and snacks. Staff were brilliant. Location is great. Just off the main road but close to Rose Street. Breakfast was also great. Room has everything you need. We were in en essentiall room but it was very big. Bed was large and comfortable.

Cons:

It was all fantastic!

Overall, not value for money, Though I did appreciate the pool area having dedicated children’s times.

Lovely location. Friendly and attentive bar staff.

Cons:

Given the Charlotte Square frontage, the bar style and location within the hotel was quite disappointing. It felt something of an afterthought shunted in at the back and makes no use of the fabulous location and outlook onto Charlotte Square (in addition to the magnificent interior).
