A warm and pleasant introduction to Edinburgh.
Pros:

Sincerely friendly and helpful staff. The customer service was top notch. The ambience was warm and charming. Our room was clean and quaint. We were met with a nice note, bowl of fruit, and chocolate. The spa was nice. We felt welcomed and supported throughout our stay.

Cons:

It took several seconds for the water to reach the faucet in the bathroom. The stairs to the rooms went though the restaurant so a little awkward when walking from the spa in our bathrobes. The breakfast was good but we expected better for the price. The price was a bit steep overall.

There was lots to like about the hotel, but it wasn’t cheap and I would have liked more space and comfort.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic position with lovely staff.

Cons:

The room was very small and there was nowhere to sit comfortably other than on the bed, as a result the mattress was distorted.
The milk was in the fridge and was sterilised and so wasn’t great in tea.
