The balcony
The parking, I was nowhere close to my room. I walked through the shop and out on the patio and to the next building and turned around and went back to the store. Then she (registration) noticed me???

The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Housekeeping communicated via text messaging asking how it was going and did we need anything. The location was perfect and with the ocean view room we were content to stay put. I highly recommend Guy Harvey Resort. Be aware this is a dog friendly resort and during our stay there were several friendly dogs staying there. The on site restaurant was delish!
The staff was absolutely amazing! Rachel and Dan at the front desk could not be more helpful and welcoming. Vickie in the restaurant, was helpful, kind and exceptional service. Overall a wonderful stay! Thank you we'll see you next year 😉

The bathroom is very outdated. No where to put things at on free standing sink. The toilet ran all night and leaked on floor.
Nice location, great pool and deck area and access to the beach. Staff was friendly, kind and helpful. Beds were fine. Decor was nice. We were upgraded to a balcony room which had a nice view of the ocean. There was adequate heating and cooling in the room. I actually really loved the Guy Harvey artwork that was throughout the property. There were fun activities going on during our stay such as live music and bingo although we did not participate.
Two issues: 1) Plumbing was noisy every time water was used in neighboring rooms. 2) While the unit was surface clean, it needed a significant deep clean that would take far more time than housekeeping is allocated for daily changeover. The toilets had heavy rust stains, and there was dirt down below and in the corners. There was an old dried out blob of toothpaste stuck firmly to the floor in a prominent location. I tried to clean it but would have needed a scraper. To address these issues properly would have needed 1.5-2 hours of cleaning, so not reasonable to expect it with daily housekeeping. The elevator was dirty around the corners and Guy Harvey signature throw rugs in the hallways needed a cleaning. The daily cleaning was fine and reasonably clean, but it looked like there had not been a deep cleaning done in a while, which made the property feel run down even though the decor was reasonably modern. It also made it difficult for me to fully relax seeing all the dirt in the corners. Perhaps the cleaning staff is either short staffed or they are not given enough time to do a thorough cleaning which over time results in the need for catch up deep cleaning.

Great facility
Guy Harvey Resort St Augustine Beach is right on the Atlantic and we had an ocean view that was amazing. The parking was great as well. Santiago's was very conveniently located in the lobby and the food was good.
Unfortunately, the size of the room was quite small for our party. The whole place could use a remodel and some new carpet throughout.

Should be able to void a double charge if done on the same day instead of making guest wait for refund and gave to go thru there bank. My experience was i was double charged 2 times. This cut us short on what we could experience our last day!!
The room was clean and had a beautiful ocean view. There was a restaurant on site as well as a pool bar making it convenient to have a cocktail by the pool. Also liked that they had a boutique on site where you could shop for souvenirs.
