I should have stayed at a hostel

smelled of stale smoke with a hint of urine, the matresses were 3" thick spring pads

Great value, very clean
Pros:

It was a great budget hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, and a great location.

Cons:

The breakfast was a little lackluster, but it was toast, name-brand cereal, and waffles, so it filled up the kids as much as we needed.

Nice clean rolms with queen beds with a fridge but no microwave in our rolm.
Pros:

The rooms included two queen beds versus a lot of motels offering just two double beds.

The rooms are updated and very clean including a hot and bold breakfast for a very reasonable price.

Cons:

The three storey building is old but has lots of room the relax in a large common room adjacent yhe large breakfast seating sarea.

Pros:

Night staff very friendly, quite helpful. Appreciated the old-school elevator and decor, and the bathroom towels were nicely plush.

Cons:

Morning staff not a morning person. Location felt a little sketchy, and was not happy with the fire alarm going off at 5am. Hoped for a safety mat in the tub, ended up putting a washcloth for traction in the shower. Coils in the mattress very evident.

I didn't like the people that were using drugs outside the back gate. I know people have problems but it's a little uncomfortable when going out to have a smoke. Sorry.
