Pros:

The location was superb – very conveniently close to the heart of the Marais in Paris. You can walk to the Marais in 10 minutes or cycle to the Moulin Rouge in 20. The room was a bit small, but that was mostly because of my huge luggage. The staff were incredibly friendly and even kept an eye on me at night when I went out for a cigarette – I felt really safe and welcome. I could store and even weigh my luggage at the hotel after checkout. And my personal thank you goes to the cleaning lady that was cleaning my room every day and unclogged the stopper that was stuck in the sink🥺 merci!

Cons:

The only slight inconvenience was that there was only one elevator for the entire building – shared with the cleaning staff and their carts – and no stairs option (or at least I couldn't find one). So if you needed to get out during "rush hour," the elevator could feel a bit crowded with hotel sheets and trolleys. It wasn't annoying at all, really – but I would have appreciated having stairs as an alternative.

It is good choice for stay.
Pros:

Very good location. All attractions can be reached by foot in 20-40 minutes, close to metro and bus stops. Very kind staff.

Cutsy hotel with lovely staff!
Pros:

Everything was perfect! In a little street, calmer than Château d’Eau usually is. Easy access to the metro.
Super clean, super friendly staff, cosy rooms.
AC was working well in that heat! ❄️

Vi kunne gå til de ting vi gerne ville se.

Cons:

Vi var ikke imponeret over AI aircondition. Der var for varmt på værelset. Så vi måtte have en almindelig ventilator kørende hele natten.

Great location, friendly staff, but room needs better maintenance.
Pros:

Location was fantastic. Easy to access the metro. Staff were very friendly. Room size was as expected.

The room, however, was not well maintained. The bathroom vent didn't work properly, and when we checked it out, it was clogged with chunks of dust. Once cleared, the vent worked fine. The bathroom toilet paper holder was broken. The knob on the end could not stay on, so unless you held the roll as you pulled some, the roll would fall onto the floor. The bathroom trash can lid had a large rust stain. Also, I would adjust the AC but it would revert back to a higher temperature, leading to middle-of-the-night wake-ups to re-adjust back to the desired temperature.

Pros:

The staff are excellent, very nice and helpful. The bed was comfy, a decent breakfast, and close to Metro and train station.

Cons:

The area around is not nice, specially topwards Gare du Nord. If travelling alone, must be careful of excessive begging or scamming, bad vibes overall. The breakfast could be covered to avoid flies. Lots of noise until late as there are several restaurents below.

The location was decent and the host team was polite and professional. There is nothing else I can say in a positive way about this hotel

Cons:

While Paris is struggling from unseasonal heat (we were hitting 37 C while there) and that is not on the hotel, there were things that hotel management could have done:
1) Please give portable fans. The rooms have oppressive heat with 0 ventilation. The Airconditioner does not work because the "AI" does not let you change the temperature.
2) Please do not accept bookings for the 5th floor till the current weather persists. As the roof is a slanting roof, the bed is practically kissing the hot, hot roof. These rooms are practically unserviceable unless proper insulation is done.
3) While I can understand why the water closet and the bathroom are separated (boutique hotel, space optimisation). But why have a beam sticking out as soon as you exit the WC (room 54)? I've banged my head against it at least once a day.

Ruined by aircon not working
Pros:

Very friendly staff

Cons:

They claim to have aircon but it’s just a vent with a control that has restrictions “to save hotel energy bills”. I stayed here during hot weather and had terrible sleep as the aircon is basically non existent - you can’t control it from the settings due to restrictions. It is SO hot in the room

Pros:

Nice clean very pleasant theme hotel near to gate saint Lazard station. Rooms okay but small well furnished with tea and coffee.
Shower and toilet were a tight squeeze and leaked.
B’f offered a good choice, self service, rec to get down before 8 only to limited seating
