The reception staff were friendly and the hotel pretty funky. The breakfast was great and the staff at breakfast were fantastic. The room was a good size and bed extremely comfortable. Location was perfect.
The spa was just ok.
The aircon in our room was not working for 4 out of 5 nights which was unbearable! Should have been resolved way quicker.
The bar staff, especially the older lady was extremely rude, poor service and misinformed us, ruining our experience. After the poor experience, we ended up going out at night, rather than using the hotel facilities as the service was way better outside.

The air con in first room (714) was not working and I had to move.

We were given a “ superior “ room 005 which was tiny smaller than my ensuite bathroom at home,near the breakfast room .Trafiic noise was considerable The room rimbled when an inderground train went under .No towels were were left in the morning and when I went to reception to complain a staff member
barged in with towels withour knocking! The last straw was when Ieft I was charged for breakfast though my booking stated breakfast included .
Everything! We stayed at NYX Hotel Holborn for my sister’s hen weekend, and the hotel exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The thoughtful touches, including a bottle of Prosecco, a beautiful handwritten card and a personalised message on the mirror, made the celebration feel even more special.
The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. A special thank you to Jamal, the concierge, who was absolutely wonderful—warm, professional and genuinely helpful. He made us feel so well looked after and is a real credit to the hotel.
Breakfast was sensational, with an excellent selection of hot and cold options. I was especially impressed by the dedicated gluten-free section, which even had its own toaster. As someone who requires gluten-free food, this level of care and attention was hugely appreciated.
The rooms were comfortable, the hotel had a fantastic atmosphere, and the location was perfect for exploring London.
There was nothing to dislike. We genuinely couldn’t fault our stay.
