Stayed here a few times. Property is on the older side but in a very safe and convenient location. Never had any issues or problems.
They weren't even OPEN! I was there with my daughter and had to book and emergency stay somewhere else because this hotel was closed upon arrival. Even after we has successfully booked it and PAID.
Great location. Ease to get to strip and casino.
Stay away! Days Inn cancelled my 7 day reservation with only 2 days notice, at the high season in Palm Srings. Wyndham/Days Inn offered nothing for throwing my vacation into chaos. It was only a fluke that I found about the cancellation. Days Inn called me but did not leave a voice mail. I called back out of curiosity and found out.
I'm still receiving emails confirming the reservation.
Don't expect Days Inn/Wyndham to honor their commitments or help out in any way. I spent almost 50 minutes on the phone with them. Someone will call me back next week.
We never stayed there, they had NO hot water. They phone the day of our travel and said they had no hot water and that there would be no discount on the room because we were now informed of the problem.
We now gad to find other accommodations last minute.
My husband and I were very disappointed. We have stayed at the Palm Springs Days Inn before and though it was never anything fancy, we did not enjoy our stay. The bathroom was dirty with a stained toilet, dirt and grime on the walls and molding, and mold on the shower curtain. The shower water was lukewarm at best. The bed felt old and uncomfortable. You can feel the springs, which make noise when you move around. We did not sleep well. The carpet in the hallway was very old and dirty. I felt like I was staying at a seedy motel in a bad neighborhood. Many things were out of order including the ice machine, all the vending machines, and the hot tub. The pool was technically heated but it felt lukewarm and was not comfortable enough to stay in for more than 20 minutes. While the exteriors were mostly clean, the hotel in general seems neglected. Other than some trees, there's very little decor which makes the place feel empty and sad. The place needs a major makeover. It has so much potential.
Very dissapointed. Been here before and the place has never been anything fancy, but it's really gone downhill. The bathroom was dirty, moldy, and the shower water was lukewarm. Out of order: ice machine, all vending machines, the spa. The pool was also lukewarm and not comfortable enough to enjoy on a cool day. The carpets in the common areas are all very dirty, stained, and everything else is in general disrepair. The place needs a serious makeover. Will not be coming back.
Day 2: No water for afternoon and evening
Day 3: Cold water only
Day 4-7: The ice machines, the vending machines, the guest laundry and the hot tub didn't work. (the water, however, returned to nearly a normal temprature.
This is a very tired hotel in obvious need of some serious renovation.
terrible horrible rude staff
didn't clean my room for 7 days - pool not always hot nor hot tub
dirty litter - room leaked one nice front desk person said we will move u -& didn't- worse experience of my life
im 65 yrs old wheelchair parking pass- 8 asked 2 b put in front of my door didn't- dirty would not recommend- gross - liars
stop over at the beginning of the trip. Nice place comfortable everything works, nice pool and close to downtown.
Like the proximity to the pool and jacuzzi. However, management did not inform guests that the heating for the pool and jacuzzi was turned off when the hotel had a fire in one of the rooms. Communication could have been better
This was the worst experience I have ever had. I feared for the Health and Safety of my family! The Hotel Facility was dirty with stains on the rugs in the hallways, in the hotel room, stains on chairs, stains on walls, the bathroom sink knobs had mildew in the plastic knobs. The hotel Guests were loud. The air Conditioner didn't work, the ceiling light has no cover. Trash and bugs everywhere! We left very early in the morning because we didn't get any sleep from the noise. I cannot believe this Hotel is still in operation! Wyndham should be ashamed of themselves for even representing this hotel! I asked for a refund and they said no because I didn't tell them about my concerns. Because I had a lack of sleep, the rest of my vacation was ruined.
This hotel reflects poorly on the hotel brand. Spend the money on secure patio doors, a newer TV that is not 10 yrs old, a basic blanket (why no blanket in winter), AC/Heater was crazy noisy, no hot water in the sink, etc. The entire experience was embarrassing and sad. I would not recommend nor would I stay again. Not even for 1/2 price.
Noisy, faulty doors, light came through the door interfering with sleep.
Think Motel 6 without the glitz. Seems like the property was built in the early 1960’s and has. It been refreshed since. Carpet was beaten and dirty, toilet was the type that has the industrial foot flusher, etc
Nice hotel
The pictures are deceiving of the rooms. The bathrooms are old and run down. The carpets smell and are dirty.
Was very disappointed
Clean property, I think is time to change the mattress
A good hotel for the price - close to downtown. We got a large room with a kitchen area and couch which was nice, but no dishes, utensils, or anything to make it useful. The room was clean but not updated. If you want something a little more luxurious, this isn't the place. If you just need a cheaper place to sleep and shower with a few amenities, this works fine. Didn't use the pool but it looked okay.
The shower was not good as it kept getting hot shots several times during the shower. The toilet never flushed on the 1st flush all week. No one told us we had to ask to have the room cleaned. When they did clean they missed things all the time. Someone knocked on all the doors at 2:30 in the morning one night.
