Really good stay with a glamorous vibe
Pros:

-) very (!) friendly staff
-) very nice vibe (original hotel building from the 20s nicely preserved)
-) Location directly at the beach
-) very good food

Cons:

You really have to think hard to come up with something. If you had to say something, it’d be the slightly outdated pool area and that there‘s no free water in the gym.

Sicuramente la posizione e la gentilezza dello staff. Pulizia e dotazioni in camera di altissimo livello. Colazione eccellente con personale gentilissimo

Cons:

Il bagno della camera con la doccia in vasca. Abbiamo chiesto un cambio camera perché la prima era imbarazzante: in un mezzanino, piccola e senza luce e la camera dataci dopo era davvero grande, luminosa e con una vista stupenda. Un bagno enorme e molto bello ma non accettabile la doccia nella vasca con una tenda a chiudere ed un getto doccia imbarazzante

Einfach ein Traum!

Die Lage ist großartig, das Hotel sehr schön eingerichtet und das Personal extrem freundlich. Die Lobby ist hervorzuheben und das Restaurant mit der Lage und direktem Blick auf das Meer einfach traumhaft.

Nice Santa Monica beach hotel
Pros:

This grand property it’s very stylish Nice art on the wall and comfortable sofas arm chairs to hang around in the afternoon

Cons:

We arrived on 27 December and Christmas tree and all beautiful Christmas decorations I soo on instagram was packed away!! 🫣there was several guests complaining about it too !!

Great place…just a few things not working
Pros:

Property was beautiful. Staff was wonderful.

Cons:

Phone didn’t work and TV remote didn’t work when we got there. A good young tech came to fix but had to run down to front desk twice to address things.

Need to clean the windows frequently
Pros:

Everything was really good: food, service, housekeeping. The only one thing which looked really ugly were dirty windows .

Cons:

Extremely Dirty windows ! I stayed in the hotel few years ago, and it was absolutely the same problem with the windows. So disappointing, when you expect to look at the ocean. See the photos below

This and it's sister hotel, Shutters, are right on the beach. Best place to stay in Santa Monica in.
