Wonderful location beautifully decorated nice staff

From being greeted to depature it was an amazing experience. I really enjoyed drinks and lite bites in the lounge, with very comfortable seating and attentive service. A very romantic spot if that's important. Right on the beach and kid-friendly as well. A must if you are in the area. My room was spacious and had a balcony, which made it roomy. They have a house car to take you around town to the mall or restaurants, a very nice feature. Definitely a value for what you get.

This is a beautiful hotel on the beach. Walking distance to downtown Santa Monica. We also used the hotel bikes to ride to Venice. Recommend the hotel package w/breakfast. I like the option of breakfast at the hotel or at their sister hotel, Shutters on the Beach. Beautiful large lobby. Music in the evening. Complimentary water and coffee in the morning. There is a fridge in the room- but it's stocked with hotel wine, soda, etc. So there is no space for your snacks or drinks. I've stayed at Shutters on the Beach too. Recommend both.

Great hotel with beautiful views and excellent service. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite that was clean and comfortable with great views of the beach. I was worried it would be too noisy but it was very quiet the entire time we were there. The service was consistently great from the valets to the wait staff at the restaurant to housekeeping. This feels like an oasis in the heart of LA. Highly recommend.

I recently visited Hotel Casa Del Mar for work, but during my birthday. I knew this hotel was beautiful, as I stayed here way back when I turned 30 years old, so it's special to me. That said, Hansel, who was at the front desk upon my arrival made this stay even more special to me - I'll forever be loyal to this hotel! Located right on the beach, and walking distance to everything you'll want to visit - ie Santa Monica wharf and promenade, as well as Venice Beach - the location can't be beat. The experience is luxury, valet is quick and easy, the team welcoming you so kind and on top of things. Then, you get a room that is clean, spacious, airy and light, with sweet details like a rubber duck at the bathtub. The gym has everything you'll need and there is even a spa. The restaurant is delicious with live music and a view of the beach. I loved the ahi appetizer.

For my unique experience, after just one conversation and learning about my birthday Hansel surprised me with chocolate covered strawberries and sparkling water in my room, after I got back from a day of meetings. It means so much to me that he thought to do something kind for me, and I'm a nutrition coach so the treat couldn't have been more perfect, ha! At arrival he was welcoming, warm, interested in getting to know his guests, and on top of it all, elevated my experience with a thoughtful surprise.

The staff at reception as well as the restaurant was outstanding.
Service was excellent and we even got upgraded for our honeymoon.
