Great stay!
Pros:

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay. What made it more satisfying is the outstanding customer service provided by Tabitha. She was extremely helpful, courteous and efficient in resolving issues promptly. Good customer service is often lacking these days and it's staff like her that make one consider a revisit. Keep it up and we'll be back!

Exceptional Birthday Trip experience
Pros:

This hotel definitely deserves 5 stars! We were traveling from Niagara Falls, Canada, and upon check-in we had the pleasure of meeting Kale. After reading so many amazing reviews about him, we were really hoping to meet him — and he exceeded every expectation! Kale is absolutely incredible at what he does. He goes above and beyond to assist guests, makes you feel instantly welcome, and is so easy to talk to. He truly is a huge asset to this hotel.

I would also love to give a special mention to Michaela, Janice, and Johnny from the breakfast area, who made sure we had a wonderful and comfortable stay every morning. Their kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed.

I’m especially thankful to all of you for making my birthday trip so memorable. Visiting New York for the first time felt so easy and enjoyable thanks to Kale, who gave us excellent directions and helpful tips throughout our stay.

Thank you all for your outstanding hospitality! We would absolutely love to come back again. Kudos to Kale and Janice for making our experience so special and unforgettable!

Great location with easy access to NYC.
Pros:

Hotel is in a very convenient area. Lots to do and easy to get around by car or public transportation. Great restaurants in the area as well.

Cons:

Some things in the room we’re looking a little run down and old. The sofa’s cushions were all damaged. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling.

Breakfast advertised at $25 per person. Charged $34. Arrived towards end of Breakfast hours and food was scarce or out of items but still charged full price.

Perfect for the marathon
Pros:

We stayed here when my husband ran the marathon and it was the perfect location! We saw him run by 3 times right in front of the hotel, and then we walked a few minutes away to see him closer to the finish.

The front desk was great giving us a room with a view since our room wasn't ready when we checked in. The 1 bedroom doubles suite was roomy and had a great view of Manhattan from the bedroom. There was a small kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The door separating the bedroom and living room were like French doors so had glass panels. I brought black shower curtains to drape over them to block the living room light from bothering the kids at bedtime and in the morning but unfortunately they kept falling down. So keep this in mind if you're traveling with kids. The kids were sad the hotel didn't have a pool, but loved the coloring sheets, crayons and of course the doubletree cookies. Thanks for a wonderful stay and the later check out! It really helped after running!

Quiet stay away from the noise
Pros:

Super close to subway station. Big enough room for 2 parents and 3 big kids. Close to shopping center and restaurants.

Cons:

The console between beds didn’t seem to work … The alarm clock was running off batteries, the lamp wouldn’t turn on, the outlet didn’t charge phones.

Unfortunately, I forgot to mention to staff.

Cons:

Le monsieur à l’accueil a fait semblant de me rembourser 300$ parce qu’il m’a donné une chambre de moins luxueuse que ce ce que j’avais payé au départ, car celle ci était indisponible. Une fois au Canada, je me suis rendu compte que le dépôt en fait n’avait pas été effectué et que à la place ils m’ont prélevé 333$ de plus.

Muy bien ubicado, en Jersey pero a 400m del Path que en una parada estás en Manhattan. Muy buen precio para una habitación de 6 personas (que en Manhattan es imposible) amplia y limpia
