location
18 dollars for breakfast which is free everywhere else. Lack of coffee. Elevators need servicing
Having to pay to park
Nothing
The parking is a joke, no free coffee, bathrooms are super small . The hotel in general needs a lot of work. Location isn’t the best. The pool wasn’t open when we arrived. Then when they did open it , it was freezing and it was not well maintained
Staff friendly and responsive.
The fact that I had to pay $10 a night for parking was the initial disappointment. Our first room was next to a room with a barking dog and head wallpaper peeling in the bathroom. Our second room, we had to let the water run in the shower for 15 minutes every time we wanted to take a shower so that the water would get hot. After being out all day, we came back to our room at 6 PM and found the door open. The room had been cleaned, but they never closed the door. The carpet in the hallway on our floor was dirty and had not been vacuumed.
Convenient to get to the convention center.
Upon arrival, we were told the pool was closed, no notice of this before hand. It was reopened Saturday and the water was disgusting. It was green and cloudy. The bathroom door in our room was broken and my child got stuck in the bathroom. There was a huge water leak all three days that we have been here in the hallway outside of our room. The floor was so wet our feet were getting wet through our shoes. The hallway smelt terrible!!!! Also, the lady Brittany who works at the front desk in the evening is not very pleasant and quite snippy. Dayshift staff was great, very kind and helpful.
The pool was unavailable till the last day but nitetime
Overall, I can't complain about the place. I stayed there for my daughter's tournament, and I loved the convenience of not having to move my car or struggle to find parking at the tournament venue.
I was displeased that, upon arriving to check in—despite having already paid for my stay in advance—when I had to pay the front desk fee for parking my car, the person assisting me asked to see my debit card to inspect it. I don't know if they thought it was stolen or something of the sort, because they didn't ask the people ahead of me to show their cards for inspection. On my second night there, I had to go report some young girls whom their parents had left alone in their room; they were knocking on the doors of everyone staying on that floor, and it was around one in the morning.
The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean!
Parking could be difficult to find as there were so many people. I
The location to the Convention Center was perfect. Within walking distance!
The pool was “under construction “ and at no time was this expressed on the Booking.com site nor the Double Tree site. The main reason we chose this hotel was for the indoor pool use.
In addition to no pool access, we had to pay $13 for breakfast buffet for a 3 year old. Absolutely absurd.
Terrible experience. Floor was so loud with teens running up and down the hall after midnight. Room next door very loud (thin walls to say the least). Tried to talk to the front desk - said they would have security monitor the floor but nothing helped. They allow door dash and other deliveries directly to peoples room any time of the night as well. When I made a comment about that they didn’t understand the issue. Unfortunately knocking on doors and opening and closing doors is loud and wakes people up. I am a Hilton Gold member and have given up on Hilton quality at this point.
