S&P APARTMENTS

Location was fantastic, really can’t fault it at all however there were a number of disappointing factors during our stay unfortunately-
Construction - no where does it state that there would be constant construction from 7am on the dot (sometimes earlier) to after midnight every single day
The overpowering mould/musty smell in the apartment was actually overwhelming then to try and get fresh air from pungent smell we would have to open doors and listen to the constant construction
No outdoor furniture on balcony - we don’t see the point of booking a room particularly for the balcony if we have no furniture to sit out and enjoy it - not that we really could of due to construction but still an issue
Broken and dirty curtains
Broken handrail in bathroom
Uneven carpet - tripping hazard
Shower soaked floor in bathroom every time
Panicked during showers also due to the steam in small room with no working vent and fire sprinkler above shower
Children’s underwear and dirty tissues found under bedding
Dirty windows
Chipped and broken furniture
Dishwasher rack broken and dishwasher flooded kitchen - husband fixed this for you
Sofa bed broken and mattress unusable
No frypan only wok and all dishes and cooking utensils were greasy
Housekeeping not part of stay however $90 mid stay cleaning fee offered - I found this to be a ridiculous price
Nothing to clean apartment with Eg Broom, dustpan brush etc

I really wished I could have written a wonderful raving review however we were truly disappointed in our stay.
We have stayed at the Sebel prior too and the apartment is sadly not kept to the Sebel Standard unfortunately.

Les travaux de nuit au pied de l'hôtel ont été horribles : 40dB mesuré devant la fenêtre au 26 ème étage ! Impossible de dormir
Peut-être dû aux travaux, on ne saura pas, mais pas d'eau chaude le 1 er soir en arrivant.

Access and directions were a bit of a mess, but all in all a very nice stay.

Frontage not signed as S&P but part of Sebel so we wasted time and energy trying to find the place with luggage. Check in complicated with the lock box furthered our frustration. Room needed maintenance which was promptly attended to thankfully.

Room was a little small and the shower/bath needs a curtain or something so it won’t spill water on the ground but other then that it was good

I will be making a formal complaint about the parking ! I parked in the secure carpark next to the apartment block ! And what I read is overnight car parking was going to cost $ 20 i got there at 6.30 pm left at 6.30 am approx = so car parking was not busy at all and the secure carpaking buisness had lost no buisness by having my car parked there overnight ! And then I was charged $160 for over night car parking ! I do a lot of travel and for work and leisure and I’ll never stay there again ! That was bluntly ripped of ! It was so not fair ! ( or fair trading ) it was so disgusting and I’ll will be doing reviews and telling people all about it ! The hotel should be making people aware of the problem.

Nothing to not like

A lot! You can’t plug in a microwave with a tiny fridge smaller than an esky and no sink and call it a kitchenette. The air conditioning was terrible. The in built ducted air conditioning did nothing while the huge and noisy additional air con contraption also didn’t cool the place down. Towels were dusty and shedding. The carpet smelt dusty. Some of the furniture was chipped and damaged. A lot of this could be fixed with only a small amount of money.
