Le halle et tout l’établissent est très très sombre. La chambre minuscule. Lit double collé au mur pour permettre passage au lit et à la fenêtre .

We liked the location as it on the Dades Gorge road a walk away from the famous Zig Zag part. It was very quiet when we were there and cold but the Air con worked to heat up the room. We had a triple room, it wasn't very spacious but just enough for us. The shower was warm. The breakfast was really lovely. The owner gave us tea when we arrived and when we got in from hiking. We also chose to eat there and the food was fantastic and lots of it. The owner also helped us by letting us know one of the local buses was heading down the gorge one morning when we were going to Monkey fingers for a hike. That was so kind and helpful as we got to the start of the hike and had a fantastic day there. He also arranged our Grand Taxi back to Boulmane Dades in time to catch the CTM bus.

Hospitality and ambience

Absolutely fabulous experience. Great family hotel with carrying staff. Decently decorated interiors in local style. Nice rooms, adequate bathroom with hot water. Free parking place in front of the hotel. Riverview and 5 minutes by car to main viewpoint attraction. Wifi available in common spaces. In-house restaurant with local cuisine. No need to think, just book it. You will love this hotel. Like me.

Heating is good to have
I asked the young men of the hotel to just put water in the recipient in the car and they misunderstood and ended up washing quite meticulously the whole car. Did a great job.

This RIAD is run by the friendliest people. Arriving at 1.30 am I was given a warm welcome by the owner despite the late hour. In the morning upon the discovery of a flat tyre on my motorcycle, Mustafa and Omaha dropped everything, took me to a mechanic in a local souk, then Mustafa went in a taxi with the tyre and mechanic to repair the tyre in Boudain Dades. Omah stayed with me, kept an eye on my belongings and helped me make some purchases at the market. 1.5 hours later Mustafa returned with the new tyre. He then went on my motorcycle and guided me to the gorges, taking photos and videos along the way. We had lunch and returned to the Riad at 4.30. This would not always happen at a large fancy hotel, these are the genuine Berber people that want to help and welcome you when visiting. Stay here or miss out on meeting very special people.

Great location in the canyon. Had a nice dinner for reasonable price. Only place in Morocco where had a good night sleep.

We had the pleasure of staying one night at Riad Atlas Berbère, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and felt instantly at home. The riad is beautifully designed, blending traditional Berber architecture with modern comforts.

The rooms are cozy, clean, and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. We especially loved the attention to detail in the decor, which added a unique charm to the place. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, providing excellent service and delicious local cuisine.

The tranquil atmosphere of the riad, coupled with its stunning location, made it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the Atlas Mountains. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or an adventure in the mountains, Riad Atlas Berbère is the ideal choice. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

It’s a beautiful, original and very traditional Riad/Kasbah. The owner just couldn’t do enough for us, very helpful, very friendly, felt like family.
