My Place Hotel-Carson City, NV

The location was perfect. The room was clean.

Close to highways, food, parking.

It was clean and we liked that the room had a kitchen with a sink and stovetop in addition to the frig and microwave

Everything but the check in lady. She was rude

We arrived after driving from states away to a vacant front desk. After a minute an employee Courtney appeared & without so much as a "hello" > coldly asked "arrival or reservation?" "ID & card..." no please, no thank you, no hospitality - surprised by the $30 pet fee but paid it (other My Place hotels we've stayed at have not charged extra) - as the room key was slid across the counter w/o any information on where our room was we went back out to the car to collect baggage as we were thankfully only staying 1 night. Thirsty I grabbed a couple bottles of water out of the fridge in the lobby - lugging multiple bags, dog on the leash & trying to figure out where my room was (since no instruction on which floor our room was on had been given) the employee called after me "would you like to pay with cash or card?" I called back that I'd be back out to pay - she told me she could "do without the attitude" ... I responded "me too". I have never had such a terrible experience at any hotel. It's a good thing the room was clean otherwise I would've certainly left to find somewhere else to stay that night. Courtney's lack of customer service in the hospitality industry is appalling & any hotel that doesn't even provide a complimentary bottle of water to guests checking in isn't anywhere I'll ever give my money to again. Such a shame as past experiences at My Place Hotels had been so positive - this place doesn't deserve your business!

Jocelyn was so warm and welcoming! She absolutely made my stay. The rooms are in great shape and clean and comfortable and quiet.

Lots of thoughtful spaces for personal items: Kitchenette, huge refrig., good counter space for eating.,, great bathroom counter space. Very nice beds and high quality linens. Very close to medical facilities,,, quiet.

My best friend had two doctor appointments in Carson City, NV and I accompanied her up there. This hotel was cleaner than any we've stayed in up there. Our room, including the bathroom, was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Very friendly staff, too. We will definitely stay there again!

My Place in Carson City, Nevada is fabulous: staff are friendly, courteous, professional; coffee and tea service in the lobby 24/7; large laundry room with regular size and large size machines; facilities are top notch. Especially appreciated is the full-size frig-freezer, two burner stove, kitchen sink with dish detergent, clean bathroom, soft clean pillows and sheets and blankets, and a view of the mountains.
