Pros:

We have traveled to nearly the whole world, but we have never experienced hospitality at such a high level. The highest possible rating for absolutely all Radisson staff in Nairobi. The drivers who tell the history of the city, take you to the best places with incredible warmth. The reception staff who allow a late check-out without any extra charge. The people in the restaurant who modestly refuse large tips. Almost everything in this hotel is unreal. The people are such that we are truly planning a return visit to Kenya, but for more days. And certainly when choosing hotels and other places, because of this experience in Nairobi we will look for Radisson. Compliments to the whole team. Thank you!!

Calme, luxe et… bien-être

Très bel hôtel, situé au calme près de l’arboretum (entrée gratuite pour les clients de l’hôtel). Surclassement dans une suite, confortable, disposant d’un coin cuisine (partiellement équipée)et d’un salon.chambre dotée d’un coffre fort, de peignoirs et de chaussons, produits douche de qualité. Propreté impeccable, personnel accueillant et aux petits soins. Connexion wifi gratuite fonctionnant très bien. Piscine et salle de sport à disposition. Petit déjeuner proposant des produits variés, frais et délicieux. Un grand merci particulier à Gérald, chauffeur de l’hôtel, qui, grâce à son efficacité et à sa compétence, , nous a permis de prendre notre vol malgré les pluies diluviennes qui s’abattaient sur Nairobi.

Magnifique hôtel
Pros:

Le confort, la gentillesse du personnel, la qualité de la literie, l’équipement des chambres. Tout est parfait. Il est placé dans un quartier calme et on peut se promener à l’arboretum juste à coté.

Cons:

At breakfast, we were served spoiled milk three times. Only on the fourth attempt was fresh milk provided. The business lounge is a significant disappointment. The selection is modest, and upon opening the dishes, they were found to be empty. Nothing was replenished on a regular basis. Dirty dishes and cups that no one had cleared away were left among the food. There was no bottle opener. We had to find a member of staff and ask them to open the bottle.
Empty drawers in the kitchen area. Lack of equipment. Only two small bottles of water for two people. The hotel is far from shops. The pool bar is expensive by Kenyan standards.

Major building work noise throughout stay over a weekend
Pros:

Room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was a lot of choice.

Cons:

Major building works meant a lot of noise which we were not warned about prior to stay.

When I arrived I tried to cancel altogether to go to an alternative venue, but I was advised I would have to pay for the first night, (I had checked in 1 hr previous and they’d had incessant drilling since I’d arrived) I was only scheduled to stay 2 nights.

Pool area was not usable and very few sun loungers which meant they were unavailable most of our stay. The balcony is very small in most rooms, with just room for a seat.

The hotel advertised itself using the pool but it’s really a business hotel with major works taking place next door.

If you’re looking for a relaxing stay I would not recommend.

Location: close to Westlands, Kileleshwa and CBD, right next to Arboretum.

Cons:

Difficult to get in and out, no room for cars to turn around in front of the hotel.
