Beautiful hotel in serene Nairobi Arboretum. High quality amenities and serviceable staff.
Cons:

During our stay the hotel double charged my bank card for a relatively insignificant bill of about 100 USD. The hotel admitted to no wrongdoing, and I spent several hours arguing with management to refund me the amount. In the end, the hotel subtracted the 100 USD from other services rendered, and insisted that their bank would release the double charge, which, of course, they did not. The management should have taken responsibility for their faulty terminals/staff that made the mistake, much quicker. I did not want to spend my short vacation arguing with them. Additionally, some of the staff members were much less pleasant towards us after this polite disagreement.

Located in a very green and quiet place. The hotel is nice and the staff is friendly. The gym is also pretty well equipped.

Cons:

It seems that staff are not consistently available at the gym or spa. When issues arise—such as water running out in the sauna—or when clients need information, they may have to wait a long time or may leave without being assisted.
