Please note that the hotel is located on the landside of Istanbul Airport's main terminal building (where you will check-in for your flight), you will find YOTEL near to entrance #7 and check-in counter "R". You may stay at this property if you are arriving into Istanbul on a domestic flight and will continue onwards on an international flight or if you are coming from the city center or any other local destination and are checking in for a domestic or international flight.
If you arrived at Istanbul Airport from outside or via a domestic flight, you are already on the landside. If you arrived on an international flight and you do not have another international flight, but you have a domestic flight, please go through passport control to enter the landside part of the terminal. You will need a valid visa to enter Turkey.

Mainly excellent but one significant disappointment.
Pros:

The room was excellent in every way. I did not realise that there would not be a kettle but the staff provided one on request. Breakfast was superb.

Cons:

We moved one of the tables in the dining room to give our daughter a bit more space. Under the large square metal foot of the table was a lot of old mouldy food which had been pushed or swept under and obviously had not been cleaned away for many weeks. This was not acceptable in a hotel such as this and I later regretted not taking a photo. Everywhere else we saw the hotel was clean.
