What a fabulous Boutique Hotel! The location is amazing...great walking area! Rooms are huge and even have a funky Record Turntable with RECORDS!! Great Cafe in the Lobby...breakfast was included so we never needed to venture downstairs. Everything for breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! Staff went above and beyond to make my post birthday escape very special! Thank you! Brownies were decadent...

The staff, especially Tomas from France made the visit exceptional. The front office reception go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast delivered to your room in a basket was a novel idea. There is a good Portuguese restaurant across the street. The hotel is walking distance to some of the sights and is right in the old part of Montreal and a block from the cruise ship terminal.

The only thing I did not like was the sink and counter area. The sink was at least a yard long with about two inches of space around to try to rest the hairdryer on. It was an impossible task as the hair dryer kept falling into the sink. I know electricity and water do no mix so I found this situation to be very troubling. There is just not enough space for 2 people to put out their toiletries. Mine are in a hanging bag, but there was no where to hang it. The picture shows it hanging on the arm of the mirror, which wasn't very strong, so it didn't seem like an appropriate spot to hang, but there was no where else to hang. Very frustrating.

Something to keep in mind is that the door to the toilet has glass. If you are on the couch you look directly into the bathroom. While the glass is frosted you can certainly see the outline of the person on the toilet. Not to mention the glass doesn't make the toilet room very soundproof.

Wonderful small hotel in the Old City in Montreal. Great location — near good restaurants, shops, museums , but quiet. Easy to get around city on metro from hotel location. Fun 60’s Montreal theme. Comfortable beds, simple but very nicely outfitted bathrooms. Nice common room on RDC. Really friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming vibe.
Also, Montreal is just a great city to visit — cosmopolitan , interesting history, bilingual, vibrant and thriving. (The 3-day metro/bus passes are a great deal to get around the city and both metro and busses are pleasant and easy to use. Highly recommended )

Perfect location, friendly staff, really good bed, breakfast could be more varied.

Everything was lovely at the hotel. The staff were friendly and fun. The room was comfortable and quiet. We walked easily to most of the places we wished to visit. I would definitely stay again.
