The property is exceptional. If you are taking Amtrak, it is a short and very easy walk down the sidewalk.
Pros:

It is a very unique hotel, and I just loved the layout!

Cons:

The walls are thin. You can hear people talking in the room beside you.

The staff were outstanding.
Pros:

The team were fantastic and went well out of their way to help me get to the airport last weekend. They understood the importance of getting back to England from the US and ensuring I didn’t miss my flight. The kindness shown was wonderful.

Just Okay, I Would NOT Return
Pros:

The staff (Moddy) was fantastic, as well as the location.

Cons:

I did not like that there were holes in the ceiling for the amount of money charged for the room. I also didn't like that there was no staff person at the desk or in the building, when my co-worker and I had an early morning checkout (which I shared with Moddy the day before). The staff person came in about five minutes after we were sitting in the lobby waiting for our ride share. The doors were unlocked, not okay!

Stay at the Peabody instead.
Pros:

The room was beautiful.

Cons:

Where to start - the door leading to the elevator to get to the guest rooms was unlocked the whole time we were there. I found the lack of basic security odd.

There was no ice or water available in the hotel, either through room service or a simple ice machine. We drank from the faucet. While not a huge deal, it seemed odd to have to drink luke-warm water from a faucet in such a nice hotel. I probably could have gone downstairs and asked for water, but that also seems odd.

We could hear all our neighbors. How does such a fancy hotel not account for sound transmission.

The valet was allergic to helping. We encountered 3 valets and not a single one of them did anything to help us at all. One of them actually had me follow him a block behind the building to get something from my car. I didn't mind the walk, but I would have preferred tipping him to bring the car to me. Also, it was weird to see the cars locked up in a warehouse because I assume the area is so dangerous.

The beds were all listed as double beds but on one page, I found them listed as queens. I called to confirm bed size and was told queen sized. They are, in fact, not queen sized.

To top it all off, our sink didn't drain. Not a huge deal, just gross.

I would definitely not stay here again.

Nice place and would stay again.
Pros:

The staff was great. The place was such a surprise when we walked in. Loved the decor in lobby and room. Very clean and comfortable room.

Cons:

Cost of parking was a bit too high for one night.

Good location ,a little extra from the staff would make it a great stay.
Pros:

This hotel is within walking distance of Beale St and the surrounding sighs .very quiet street ,easy drive around.
Elvis favourite restaurant just down the street .lovely staff,must see.(we found ourselves)

Cons:

Some staff a little unfriendly .beware that the parking is taken care of by vallet at a cost of $30 per day..
