Cozy and Nice
Pros:

Staff was incredibly friendly, offering to carry our bags in and spoke excellent english. The location was excellent for getting around all of the city. The hotel is right next to Nijo castle, and the nearest subway station is next door.

Cons:

The rooms are very small, but that's a standard for most Japanese hotels, so do not hold it against them. This is also not their fault, but there is another Hotel Monday further down the same road, which can be confusing.

ロケーションは駅に近くて便利でした。

Cons:

値段相応なのかもしれませんが、部屋が半地下のような日の当たらない場所にあり、とても窮屈な思いをしました。風呂もシャワーしかないため、長旅の場合はおすすめできません。
