I was disappointed in the condition of the room I was originally given. It did not have the king-sized bed I had reserved, but it did have two beds, which was not a real problem. However, the sheets were stained and threadbare, the room had been drenched in flowery freshener, there was dirt (with dead bugs) in the room corners, there were fixings for coffee but no coffee maker, and the television remote did not work. When I inquired about the condition of the sheets, I was assured that they were clean, but within a few minutes, my husband and I were moved into a different (much better) room. The staff was kind and accommodating and tried to make everything better. (Also, even though a continental breakfast is advertised on-line, there was no breakfast, and we could find no place in Baird that served a quick breakfast.)

What I liked about the property was the cordial staff and the ice availability. Both customer service clerks were helpful and friendly. However, I did not like that no continental breakfast was offered. I was told it was no longer offered since the pandemic. I had chosen this motel for their continental breakfast offered. I was a disappointment. I hope Expedia and the hotel will update their amenities section to avoid this issue in the future. Also, I did not like that no microwave was available in the room I rented. I was quite an incovenience. Overall, I was not pleased with the room or property.

Check in was easy. Clerk was very friendly and helpful.

This was not a bad property fo the money, but it is a ne frills motel. The service was slow, at first glance the room looked clean, although after looking a little better, no it really wasn't very clean.

No one to check me in, had to hunt up someone cleaning the room who was also supposed to be the checkin clerk. He said there was a problem with my credit card, wanted to charge in an additional $10, Wanted to take copy of my credit card, etc. While waiting 30 mins. this was not resolved and I was informed there was no breakfast as was stated in their advertisement. The outside of the hotel was run down and dirty with holes in the window screens. I felt like this was a shake down and fraudulent. I have never seen an America's Best Value Inn that looked this bad. I walked away and paid for another hotel further down the road. Can't believe that corporate would allow this hotel under their name or that Expedia would continue to list them.

This way the worst place we had ever stayed. The receptionist was not professional. When we got there at 8 pm it looked like she was ready for bed with no bra or shoes. Our room was supposed to be Smoke-free. However, everything smelled like smoke. We tried calling to get clean sheets/ blankets, but there was no answer at the front desk. The next morning, I stripped the sheets off the bed so housekeeping would know I wanted clean ones. We were gone all day, when we got back to our room at 9pm, only to find our sheets would never changed. I called front desk, only to be told they do not change the sheets everyday. I informed her my sheets needed to be changed because upon stripping the bed, I found food stains on my sheets. The next day, we asked for an iron and ironing board. We were told they did not have any. The room itself was dirty and old looking. There was even a light/plug socket hanging out. Needless to say, we will never be staying at another America’s Best.

No way to turn on TV. No answer from staff

It was so dirty we couldn’t stay there. We ended up sleeping in our car. The front desk lady was so rude and unprofessional. The room was so dirty the sheets had mold. We asked for our money back and they said no .

Showed up and room not available wanted us to wait in another room while they got ready… decided just to wait in our car.. room needed a lot of cleaning and the gentleman who was cleaning it had a dog inside with him and while I am a dog person I don’t feel like he should be in a room that you are cleaning for guests who are paying to stay in a clean and accessible room!! Waited 15 minutes before letting the gentleman know we were going to look for another place because we had to be up early and are traveling with kids and he explained for us not to worry they would issue a refund for the inconvenience but are now refusing to issue a refund! Will never us this sight to book a hotel and will never again use this branch of hotel rooms!!! Worst experience I have ever had!

Very dirty, rooms not clean, bathrooms were gross! Drive somewhere else!

This was the dirtiest most stained disgusting place I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to hotels in 3rd world countries and yes they were better. Trash and junk air conditioners and broken furniture as well as dirty mattresses and couches outside my room. There were huge brown stains in the tub and holes in the in the drywall in the shower! Great place to hide a camera! The bloody smear in the bathroom door and wall were the creme de la creme of this place. They said I could not check in till 6 o’clock and then said look at the clock it’s only 5. I told them the app said check in was at 2 pm and that was 3 hours ago. They said they ran out of supples. Seriously? They didn’t know they had guests coming in the weekend but were booked? I had to put an unopened moving box on the bed because I didn’t want to sit on the stained blanket. I declined a good hotel earlier in the day because their no cancellations after 3 but if my room was not ready why did I have that policy. I turned my key in after 40 min. I could stay there. Absolutely disgusting. Don’t stay here. This place having 4.5 stars must be. Lie because it barely can be called a hotel or in and is certainly not a safe place to go. Do not come here

Bad weather room n staff friendly n helped just bad weather no clean or trash ect! Overpaid! Oh well

When we checked in the clerk put us in another room because he said we would like it better but never changed it in tje system. So at almost midnight when we were laying in our beds, someone tried to get in our room! So I had to yell through the door that someone was in there. Then I called the front desk and got someone else that did not check us in. And told her what happened. She said oh yes i see that, its our fault. So at checkout I asked if there was anything they could do to accommodate us and she said no, even through it was our fault. It really scared me because i was traveling without my husband with our kids. Also I booked there because it was advertised as free breakfast online. And when I asked about it, where we come for breakfast. He said oh we're not doing breakfast. So I'm am highly disappointed on these two issues. This is the second time I've tried to stay a America's Best and have been very disappointed. I will not be bringing my business back! Thanks
