Kindly be informed that Surabaya City Council will hold a street carnaval along Tunjungan Street which is dubbed as “Karnaval Nang Tunjungan.” The event is held on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 2pm to 9pm. The event is open for public, you are welcome to join the event.

In conjunction with the event, Tunjungan Street will be temporarily closed for vehicle access from 00.01 am until 11.59pm on 30 October 2022.

Hotel guests will still be able to travel in and out through Jalan Gemblongan (coming to hotel) and from Jalan Tunjungan turns to Jalan Genteng Kali (for going out of hotel). Do expect heavier traffic along the way and please make ample time to travel during this event. Should you need any assistance, our security team is happy to help you on your way to or from the hotel.

A hotel of this standing should provide considerably better service
Pros:

The location is very strategic as it is situated in the heart of the city, close to tourist attractions and popular hangout spots for young people. However, it tends to be too crowded and congested, probably because it was during the weekend. The hotel's breakfast as well as the in-room dining service are quite varied, comprehensive, and delicious.

Cons:

- Room service requests are extremely slow, starting from simply asking for a spoon for eating which can take up to 1 hour of waiting, and that's even after repeatedly calling room service. This doesn't even include the incorrect meal orders that are delivered to the room instead of what was actually ordered.
- They explained that data integration between the front office and restaurant is incomplete, resulting in us being asked multiple times about breakfast payment during our meal, despite our stay package already including breakfast which was paid for in advance when we made the reservation.

Shout out to Jay!
Pros:

Really enjoyed my stay. The location is convenient. The gym is spacious and has a really wide range of machines and equipment, much better than what you usually find in a hotel gym. The hotel massage is also great in my opinion.

Also a special thanks to Jay who was extremely helpful and friendly. He really went out of his way to help and made the experience better.
