Amazing Stay
Pros:

Lumicita the guest relations officer is amazing in what she does. Generally the staff were very polite and we felt like at home in Castel Hortenberg. Pool, Garden, Spa were excellent and the interior and ambiance of the hotel is superb. We liked everything the style, the furniture and our room was very spacious. Our son had his birthday and they arranged us a complimentary cake in breakfast. We loved our stay in the Castle! :) Thank you for everything

Cons:

Breakfast should not charge additional money for some food they offer. It sounds cheap to pay 10-20 euro more for an avocado tost or a musli when you pay 500+ euro per night. Also breakfast options are limited, it could be improved. Additionally the taste of food is not exceptional and it doesnt align generally with this amazing hotel.

Pros:

Liebevoller Umgang mit den Gästen, auch mit dehnen mit 4 Pfoten . Sehr viel Liebe bei der Einrichtung. Auch bei den kleinen Details wurde an alles gedacht. Definitiv Top3 aller jemals besuchten Hotels.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen.
Pros:

Das Castel Hörtenberg ist ein kleines, aber sehr feines Hotel. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dass wir noch die Möglichkeit hatten, in den Genuss des ausgezeichneten Restaurants zu kommen war der Professionalität des Personals zu verdanken. Das Restaurant im Gewölbekeller war durch eine Gruppe belegt, aber die ehemalige Gefängniszelle neben der Treppe wurde schnell in ein außergewöhnliches Séparée umgewandelt. Nochmals vielen Dank! Das Zimmer war sehr hübsch und absolut ruhig. Die Betten waren sehr gut und das Frühstück mit Prosecco wunderbar.

Mi scusi, da fällt mir nichts ein.

Lovely Stay in Bolzano
Pros:

We had two nights in rooms 301 and 304. Amazing staff (Ryan, Davide, Hamza) while we were on property AND the wonderful kind and patient woman who helped us post departure get the items I had left behind (ugghh) forwarded to our next stop. The rooms were spacious, comfortable bed and a pillow menu, many mini bar options. The decor throughout the property was lovely. Breakfast on site was delicious as was dinner at Le Segrete in the cellar. Quiet location yet close to everything we wanted in town. Highly recommend the fascinating Otzi exhibit which we booked in advance and lunch at Wirtshaus Vogel, a lovely town to walk around in!
Good to know: Because we were visiting before April 15 there was no airconditioning turned on yet, and it was already warm and sunny. That was the one downside to our stay as even with windows open it was already too warm for us to sleep comfortably. Not something I thought to ask about when we booked.
