Was very disappointed on arrival after a long working day to be told the restaurant was closed as was the bar. The village was also pretty much closed. I didn’t have transport as had flown from UK and the nearest restaurant was the next town 10km away. It should be made clear that it is not possible to have a meal if staying here before booking as it’s advertised a restaurant and bar

Accueil très chaleureux. Des chambres XXL et très propre.
Je conseille les yeux fermés hôtel Engel. Un super rapport qualité/prix avec petit-déjeuner compris !

Une ambiance chaleureuse et nuit très calme Aucun bruit. Nous avons passé un super moment à hôtel Engel.

Si vous cherchez un hôtel proche du marché de Noël de Strasbourg, c'est le bon plan !

We only stayed one night as part of our road trip however, the hotel was a complete gem. It’s a small hotel with restaurant and both were perfect. Service was very friendly and attentive. I would heartedly recommend this hotel

Sauber und die der Service stets zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind leider sehr alt und man hört den Lärm von der Straße sowie den Flugzeugen. Leckeres Frühstück.

Detta var vårt andra besök på detta hotell. Väl värd en kort avstickare från autobahn. Vi fick ett varmt och vänligt mottagande och efter en utsökt middag sov vi gott sköna sängar. Prisvärt👍

When checking out of this hotel / the front desk requested payment!
the traveller showed the Receipt of Payment - they advised him to check our CCs to make sure payment had been processed. and to send them an email confirming the payment! This is VERY STRANGE as we paid Expedia - it is not our responsibility to show further proof of payment - as I mentioned the traveller had the receipt! please advise
