Pros:

The beds were comfortable and Mary on the front desk was absolutely lovely. I wanted to give a higher score to help safeguard her job. But it's only fair that I give a proper review...

Cons:

I can see how in its hay day it would have been nice... But there was a sense of it starting to crumble. Under no circumstances would I recommend going in the pool. Wires hanging out in some showers, some toilets wouldn't flush... That kind of thing.

Most of the items on the menu weren't available (due to low business) but they managed to make a nice breakfast for us and directed us to a nearby pizza place for dinner.

Friendly staff and pleasant room but facilities not as advertised
Pros:

The staff were friendly and the room was pleasant. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

I booked a room with a balcony but couldn't use it because I was told there was a problem with it. I was offered the chance to swap to a different room, but was told the other room had no hot water so I stayed put.

The card machine wasn't working and there is no ATM nearby.

I was told there is no washing machine, fitness centre, mosquito net or hairdryer (all of which are advertised in the hotel's listing).
