A very relaxing stay away from the maddening crowds of Stations 2 & 3!
Pros:

Location away from the crowds at Stn 2 & 3 is a plus!
Breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of food choices. I especially like the assorted breads and fresh fruits.

Cons:

There was a portion in the alleyway from the main road going to the hotel where the smell is really a turn off. It seems that portion is the preferred place of stray cats (and dogs) to unload their previous day’s meals.

Not a good hotel. Will not recommend.
Pros:

The hotel was average, at best. There was nothing about the property that stood out for me.

Cons:

The location is average, the road to the hotel from the main road is completely broken and it is highly difficult to access the hotel from the main road. The beach access on the other end is not great either. Plus, many other issues such as

- We found the towels in our room had stains, which is completely unacceptable
- The drain in our shower area was all clogged which flooded our bathroom. This should be checked before the guest checks in.
- Our telephone was not working so we had great difficulty reaching out to housekeeping, room service, etc. It took them more than a day to get this issue sorted.
I definitely expect the basics to be in place by Marriott.

Pros:

Close to the beach - end of Station 3. Not too many people at the beach, and that's wonderful. Room was big enough. Staff was amaizing.

Cons:

There are no balconies, and it's pretty hard to dry your clothes inside the room. There was something wrong with AC settings - we had to set it for 16 to cool down the room.

Good location but poor food safety and hygiene
Pros:

The property though not beachfront is only a 3-minute walk to the beach.
We booked for a lap pool room which was not available on the first day. We were able to transfer on the second day.

Cons:

Food Safety. 👎👎👎We ordered a sandwich without bacon due to religious and health reasons, but the staff did not seem to care. They served us bacon, the staff even argued, insisting that it wasn’t bacon, until we showed him the chicken and bacon side by side so he can tell the difference.

We also ordered buko halo halo for room service, waited for around 45 minutes, then we called to follow up only to be advised the order was not listed down. We had to wait for another 15 minutes. It was finally delivered, without any cling wrap or safety covering, leaving the food opened from preparation to delivery. We requested the bill to be paid by card, but the staff did not bring the card machine which led her to go back and grab it, only to bring one with no battery.

The kitchen staff needs training on attention to details and food safety. Requests of clients when it comes to food safety should be highly regarded.

Staff was A plus. Younger people might prefer station 2 resorts.
Pros:

Breakfast buffet was great. Location is near the end of station 1 if you’d like a quiet relaxing stay. For activities I’d recommend a tricycle if you don’t like walking 20-30 minutes.

Cons:

Shower had a very stinky smell. Feel like the architecture looks nice but isn’t functional in the shower as the water doesn’t drain right which I believe is what caused the stinky smell.
