Room appeared clean enough , but smelled stale. Booking site said it had coffee pot and blow dryer and it had neither. When I asked at the front desk he just shrugged and walked away. Site said there was one room left , but the facility was half empty. It appeared that they rented a lot of weekly and monthly with a lot of personal property sitting outside of rooms. Definitely will not be back.
Friendly people great service only wasnt any wifi and service didnt work in room
Nice place
Walked in the room, turned around and left. Tried being polite but the theif ar the desk charged me for 1 night.
It was a good trip.
Do not stay at this shady hotel they will charge you for bs charges after you leave. Dirty shady hotel
I inadvertently made the booking when searching for Jasper Canada.
I cancelled the booking within 10 minutes when entering the address in my diary and realising I had booked the USA.
No refund do what a poor response.
Told hotel makes the decision, just hope they get the money
Was told I got the last non smoking room on ground floor. I am disabled. The place was mostly empty all 3 days. I walked around and there were numerous empty non smoking rooms on ground floor. It appeared people apparently lived there. (Not company day laborers). It was a “smoking room” by the mark by the door. Two roaches in room first day. Sheets and towels were so old and pre stained with cigarette burns. Also parked street side and VERY noisy! AC did “something” but was not at all accurate and sounded a if it might blow up. Chain lock missing. Dead bolt there lol. No coffee in room, not coffee period? Just bizarre. I went to Walmart and bought a sheet, a towel and a pillow and case. Somebody DID service the room all 3 days which I appreciated but those towels & the rest. The husband wanted me to re locate but I had prepaid. I thought I took photos but apparently forgot. I left early for work and tried to spend as little time as possible there.
Airport across the road, loud due to them taking off and landing.
It was ok if you are just looking for a place to sleep for the night. Kind of smelled but nothing too terrible. Bed was comfortable enough. We only started long enough to get a good nap in before hitting the road again. Wouldn't stay for anything more than that.
I stayed here because the reviews were so high.
It turns out the people giving those reviews must have done so because they got paid or just don't travel much. The property isn't bad...but it was not as advertised. The bed and pillows were worn...the sheets and pillow cases were supposed to be white but were not. The furniture was dated.
Traveling to play softball tournament in Ellijay. We chose this hotel for price and location. Both were a plus. Staff was having issues with the language barrier upon checking in. Also they don’t offer any type of breakfast at this hotel, so plan accordingly.
Five stars.
Front desk guy was nice although the desk hours are minimal.
The lights in our room rivaled that of an interrogation room - very bright, stark, and hard on the eyes.
The sheets were quite stained.
They went in the room despite the DND sign on the door.
It was very quiet but we may have been the only ones there...
The staff always upgrades my room if they have one available!
I only stay at the Claremont Inn when I'm in town!
The smell of weed will knock you on your ass upon entering a room, parking lot is so tiny you can barely get into a parking space without almost hitting another car, sheets and pillows were so gross they looked as if they hadn’t been washed in about 10 years, we had to go in and disinfect and clean our entire room to be able to stay in it because it was so dirty when we got there. Ridiculous
Another great stay here! Very quaint and quiet. Got some much needed rest.
We were attending a concert at Rocco’s Pub. This place was nearby and convenient. The price was good, $110, and staff was friendly. However. the bed was not good. The box spring had stains, there were burn holes and hair on the blanket. The bedspread did not look clean. We will not be back.
Another great stay here!
