Wyndham Grand Taixing Downtown

Good setup, excellent breakfast, good variety. I request for half boil egg for my breakfast and it was done perfectly. Room is big enough.
Since I'm travelling on business, no time to explore surrounding.

I travel for business in China several times per year for the past 6 years and although I have come to experience great and memorable stays they have never been as deep as at the Wyndham Taixing. It is true that such memorable moments occur when you least expect them. My expectations of my stay were low as I was just there for a few days for business and Wyndham is not generally my first choice (no offense) but little did I know how wrong I was...

From my tired arrival on day one I was greeted with a genuine smile which would ensue throughout my stay. To add it felt as if I was being expected and the welcome felt heartfelt. Now, usually in many hotels of any brand that is where the experience either hits it and later fails to continue or fails altogether. But not here. From the early mornings when I was leaving for work to the evenings to when I was arriving back, it was always there. The anticipation, the remembering of my name and concern as to my wellbeing and as to what I would like in order to wind down with my dining preferences to my morning take away coffee. I could go on a very long rant but would prefer to keep it concise.

As stated before, I have had great experiences where I would at times write a letter to the management of the hotel to convey my gratitude and congratulations. But never felt the need to boast on an online review website for the world to see. Which is why I have made my account -- to share with any traveler thinking of where to stay, to come here. And never has one single person made so much of difference to my stay as my new friend, Louisa Xu. Kudos to her and her leaders who foster and enable her.

I long for business to resume and and be able to stay at this marvelous establishment I know feel like a home away from home (pardon the cliché).
