It was close to where we needed room was clean

Clean rooms , helpful staff, they all spoke English.
No streaming services on the TV. A bit too far from shops or restaurants. A bit of a walk from the station. Not any coffee sachets in the room just two green teabags.

It was very clean. Upon arrival, the staff kindly changed/upgraded us to another room with two single beds (with an extra fee) after we discovered that a double room's bed was too small for us (parents with an infant), which was much more suitable for us.
It was a bit of a walk from Kyoto station and restaurants/cafés as it's in a residential area. It is manageable but with the rain and baggage, we wished that the hotel was a bit closer to the station 😅.
