Staff were friendly
1) All was fine just that the room was a bit small for a single bed. I felt like staying in a prison cell but exclusive
2) Cafe should open earlier than 7.30am. 7.30am is too late. 6.30 or at least 7am based on my experience with other hotels.
The location was ok only because of the Food Festival during our stay.
The breakfast system is unacceptable. You receive MYR 25 in breakfast vouchers per person, per day, but the cheapest main dish costs MYR 28. This means that, no matter what you order, you have to pay extra. In my opinion, this cannot really be advertised as breakfast included.
We raised the issue and were eventually given additional vouchers, but we should not have had to complain in the first place to receive an actual included breakfast.
Another major issue was the room itself. As it had no windows, we expected some form of ventilation to deal with humidity, but there was none. The damp smell in the room was terrible. We also asked for a second key card so we could leave the air conditioning running during the day to reduce the humidity and sleep more comfortably at night, but this was refused.
The room was also poorly soundproofed, the bed was broken so it was very uncomfortable. We asked for another room. But they said the hotel was fully booked. The staff were not particularly friendly and rarely even said hello.
Finally, the hotel is around a 30-minute walk from the city centre, which made the location less convenient than expected.
Overall, this was a major disappointment. The stay was uncomfortable, and we definitely would not choose this hotel again.
Great location and quiet room.
Room could do with deep clean and some refurbishment. Breakfast voucher for downstairs cafe doesn’t really cover food and a coffee- either/ you need to pay to top up.

Sehr nettes Personal und die Lage war sehr gut... nicht mitten im Trubel, fussläufig ca. 15 Minuten bis zur Waterfront und Chinatown auch gleich um die Ecke.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne Fenster was auch völlig ausreichend, ruhig und sauber war. Sehr gute Ausstattung und bequeme Betten.
Wir können das Hotel empfehlen :)
