Nice and clean, but terrible breakfast
Pros:

The hotel was nice, and even though it was within walking distance from Hyde Park and Notting Hill, it was in a quiet and calm street. Affordable price, and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We did, however, have a not so good experience the last morning. Even though our door was locked and the "do not disturb" sign was on the door, we were awakened by housekeeping at 9 o'clock who knocked and then opened the door. Housekeeping should not be able to open locked doors. Master keys are for management only.
The room and bed was also smaller than expected and the breakfast was not good. The eggs were overcooked and blue inside with a rough skin around it. The bacon was wet and there was nothing except jam to put on the bread.
So, in all, if you are staying for a couple of days, it's more than good enough. If you are planning a longer stay and a good breakfast go for something else.

Confortável e acolhedora
Pros:

Da prestação do serviço: os funcionários eram extremamente prestativos e atenciosos. Da recepção à equipe de limpeza. Inclusive, o chefe do restaurante foi muito solícito, procurou atender nossas expectativas dentro de suas possibilidades.

O quarto era extremamente pequeno e o café da manhã invariável.

Pros:

Menší hotel v bezpečné čtvrti, cestovala jsem sama s dcerou a cítily jsme se i večer bezpečně. Příjemný a nápomocný personál, snídaně klasické anglické, obsluha stále kontrolovala, zda je všeho dostatek. Uvítaly jsme ovoce i zeleninu. V hotelu bylo v únorových chladných dnech příjemně vytopeno. Pokoje jsou malinké, ale dostačující. Uvítaly jsme velmi možnost uvařit si na pokoji čaj a kávu. Každodenní kvalitní úklid.

Cons:

Jak uváděli někteří jiní hosté, stěny jsou opravdu tenké a občas jsem mela pocit, že nám lidé na chodbě chodí přímo v pokoji. Slyšeli jsme i výtah, bohužel jsme měly pokoj primo u něj.
Zásadní výtku mám ke způsobu umístění poličky v koupelně nad umyvadlem - ruce umyjete v pohodě, ale zkusil si tam někdo umýt obličej? Skoro nemožné, prostě se tam nevlezete. :-) Příště trochu logiky.
