Courtyard Cleveland Airport South

Upon arrival at about 7 pm, I waited at the front desk for several minute, I finally heard the clerk laughing in the back 2 times I had to speak up to get his attention. When I went to check out, same thing, but could not get any response so, I left after a minute or so. My WiFi in my room was so weak my laptop would not connect. The next time I was by the front desk, the clerks response was some parts of the building it isn’t very good, there is a number you can call. Not quite what u expect from Marriot. Room was nice, breakfast was good, but customer service was poor. Probably would not stay again.

Smelled like weed morning noon and night. The tv in our room didn’t work and when maintenence came they stated there was something wrong in the wall outlet that caused the phone to be unusable. The shower didn’t drain and when we removed the plug there was a ton of old hair.
Breakfast is not included but can be purchased.
Basic for not a basic price.

It was remolded but no other mirror except for the one over the sink. The lighting over the sink was strange. Couldn’t see no door on the closet and it’s right by the sink. You had to ask for towels every day because they only clean every other day or every two days.

The front desk was very nice and helpfull, she was the reason went ahead and stayed. The pictures make it a lot nicer than it is. Has the vibe of a notel motel. They remodeled 2 years ago, but it definitely needs a refresh. Bed was comfortable and breakfast decent.

The Good: The renovated restaurant and lounge look good and are tasteful.
The renovated room is tasteful.

The Bad: The room was not cleaned properly, the bathroom floor was dirty and the table in room was not wiped.
Kinda felt icky the whole time!

The property itself was nice. Lots of dining options close. However, there was a musty smell coming from the AC and the toilet was not working. We did get moved and the manager was great about it, but then the next room had a very uncomfortable bed, the shower door would not close and when I went to use a makeup wipe it had yellow spots on it. Overall an ok place, but they still charged me full price after going through all that which was surprising considering our experience.

Room was not read\y in time for check-in. The staff was lovely, but having to check in later set the tone for us being late to the event we were in town for.

Rooms are basic but clean and food on site is good.

Area is quiet, parking lot feels safe, hotel is clean, staff is kind, room is newly renovated.

Bed was super comfy. Room was fine, standard motel room. Check in clerk was not overly friendly. Limited dining and breakfast options.

No amenities at all. Water in the lobby that’s all you get. Toilet clogged twice. Second time I was given the plunger. Air conditioning in room would not go past 74. Had that checked twice they said it was cold enough. Booked a suite and paid $100 extra a night to get a pull out couch. The photos on Expedia and what you get are not the same. Awful!!!
