For guests staying 6 nights or less, cleaning staff do not clean rooms but they change towels and collect trash. Please sign up cleaning magnet outside of room door by 11am in the morning. For guests staying 7 nights or more, rooms are cleaned once a week only in addition to the cleaning services same as guests who stay 6 nights or less.
Guests must check in by 17 : 30 to eat dinner at this property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. We had a wonderful stay at Tokyu Stay Hida Takayama. The hotel was easy to find, located right next to the police station (koban), and in a convenient location.
The breakfast was excellent, with a buffet offering plenty of delicious choices. We also appreciated the complimentary welcome drink, which was a nice touch after arriving.
One of the biggest advantages was having a washer/dryer in the room, which was incredibly convenient during our trip. The hotel is also only about a 10-minute walk from the Sanmachi Suji Historic District, making it easy to explore the old town. Just keep in mind that many of the shops in the historic district close around 5:00 pm, so it's worth visiting earlier in the day.
You will need to pay for parking, which we weren't aware of when we booked it. It is fine, not a huge amount, it is 2000 yen for the parking.

Very beautiful and comfortable, we enjoyed ourselves with the public onsen, private onsen, foot bath. The breakfast is delicious, a lot of japanese options that are so tasty and worth trying. The staff is attentive and polite. The hotel is quiet at night and feels very private. Very close to the bus station, very convenient location.

我們訂的是三人房，照片上跟資訊內容也都註明三張單人床，但實際去住只有2張床跟棉被，另一個小朋友怎麼睡呢？而好笑的事情是房卡卻是給3張，跟飯店反應確說是平台的問題，真心覺得無奈也毫無邏輯，說是小朋友不需要床跟棉被那為何選項是3張單人床呢？又為何給3張房卡呢？這經理的態度超不負責任的
Très bien situé a 2 pas de la gare, très bel hotel, je recommande sans hésiter.
The onsen ruined me forever on hot tubs. I can now only do Japanese onsens. And we only did the public ones. They’re so good. The room had a phenomenal tatami mat cove where my kids slept that also served as our dining room. The view out of this was worth it even without the onsen. Eating in our yukata even from 7-11 was an experience I can’t compare.

The hotel is nicely designed and pays tribute to the local craftsmanship, which I really liked. The service was lovely. The bed was comfortable and the room well-soundproofed. The washing machine in the room was a great bonus. The breakfast was tasty. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
I didn't like the layout of the breakfast area - it felt very cramped when it got busier. Also, the table with food was quite small and things were in small containers, so things were running out frequently (especially rice!) and the staff had to run back and forth to replenish. Not nice for visitors, not nice for the staff either.
Also, the parking is limited and paid extra (quite pricy). Better to look in the area.
