Pros:

Everything exceeded our expectations on all levels, the building itself has a long and storied history and we were even given a tour. Jason in the Elephant bar provided an outstanding level of service coupled with an exceptional amount of knowledge and expertise. Would not hesitate to recommend and I hope we can go back again one day soon.

My experience at Raffles Hotel Le Royal was truly unforgettable!
Pros:

Two days before Khmer New Year, I visited the hotel as a walk-in guest to explore and experience the atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, I received a very warm welcome from the staff. Ms. Monorea and Mr. Chhart greeted me with genuine friendliness and bright smiles. They kindly offered me a refreshing glass of iced tea along with some snacks.

Monorea also took the time to give me a tour around the hotel and shared some insightful information about its history and features. I truly felt welcomed and impressed by the level of care and hospitality shown by the staff. Their attentiveness and service made my visit incredibly enjoyable.

I would like to sincerely thank Ms. Monorea, Mr. Chhart, and all the staff for their warm hospitality.

Perfect
Pros:

It is Fabulous. The staff were exceptional prior to arrival, on arrival and during our stay especially Henry. The rooms were a good size , comfortable beds and organised as we had requested to accommodate 3 children . The children all received welcome gifts. The hotel is elegant, clean and we enjoyed all the facilities and restaurants.

Pros:

Hotel historique dans Phnom Penh. Les locaux sont tres beaux. La chambre immense et magnifique. Le style colonial est bien représenté. Nous ne sommes restés que 24h mais ce fut un super moment. Restaurant qualitatif, personnel disponible, aidant et serviable. Elephant Bar iconique. Super moment

Cons:

Le prix est quand même elevé et le restaurant Phnom 1929 fait un peu cheap dans sa décoration / ambiance.

Staying at Raffles Hotel Le Royal should be number one choice while in Phnom Penh.
Pros:

What an oasis! On a referral, I decided to explore Raffles hotel while I was in Phnom Penh for a brief stay. I was already booked elsewhere so I decided to treat myself to a wonderful brunch. The surprises never ended from the delightful new restaurant manager Tum to the most incredible food and service. Highly recommend! It was also unexpected yet cherished that I was invited to an art opening that night at the hotel. Again, every last detail was impeccable, the guests were all embraced, the curated art of the local Cambodian people exceptional, and the passed hors d’oeuvres and poured drinks were delicious.

The most fantastic hotel.
Pros:

Words cannot express how amazing is this hotel. The elegance, the sense of grandeur and history was fantastic. Our room was huge with a private balcony. The marble bathroom had both bath and shower. Friendly helpful staff at both the restaurant and the magnificent Elephant Bar. There are 2 lovely pools, one for children, and both in a tropical setting. Staff bring fans and toiletries including citronella mosquito repellent to you poolside. We ordered some food and drinks poolside and that was very tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also very good. I'll go out on a limb and say this is the best hotel we've ever stayed in although of course that's subjective! I'd go to Phnom Penh just to stay here.

A treat stay to end the holiday but felt a little lack lustre

Beautiful decor and a touch of luxe before a flight home. Big breakfast menu to choose from and the welcome drink was fabulous. Excellent sized pool.

Cons:

Feather pillows on the bed left me with such a sore neck the next day. Nothing complimentary in the minibar - which was a shame. Felt like I had been forgotten at breakfast and was sat outside around the corner next to smokers, and so I left after a short time meaning I didn’t maximise the breakfast options. The service by the pool was very slow and staff could have been more attentive. My shower also didn’t get hot, tepid but not hot enough.
